Prego, non conosco il tuo workflow produttivo ma la macchina che vuoi assemblare se la sognano il 90% delle società che fanno il tuo stesso lavoro.. 🙂 Per quanto riguarda il resto se sei a zero, parti leggendo le guide che trovi nelle firme di @Gengik84and @iCanaro Ti fai una idea se e' fattibile in base al tuo tempo ed alla tua voglia di risolvere iniziali problemi Il forum da una mano (grossa) ma di solito aiuta l'utente a crescere senza fare per lui il suo lavoro... Quindi con un po' di impegno avrai anche tu un hackintosh che primeggerà con i migliori mac in circolazione 😉 Poi se vuoi andare oltre..c'e la pillola rossa....ma la tana del bianconiglio e' molto piu' profonda di quanto sembri (cit. rivista cinematografica) 🙂

hi @Driftwood I do not know if it is related to radeon (maybe connected also to reset bug??) or bios different settings of AsRock and Gigabyte mb (which seem to have the chance to go deeper than MSI during settings cpu and others parameter) I can only say that I use a single VM config file to boot High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina and latest Big Sur Beta 2. Also my EFi is the same for all (one EFI allows to boot properly in all system above) In OSX above High Sierra I have limitation you know because I have no GPU driver for them It would be interesting if other users with MSI or Asus board have the same problem or not

Yep no need of third patch for us only the numbers for Big Sur version and old two patches In config.plist file

Si installa perfettamente la scheda nvidia migliore supportata è la Titan xp oppure la 1080ti o le schede quadro corrispondenti mi pare serie 6000 ma non ne sono certo in genere le GeForce sono più performanti se non hai bisogno di particolari caratteristiche che i drivers quadro attivano per le stesse

Ps la scheda del tuo Mac è un giocattolo rispetto alle top di gamma sia amd che nvidia una macchina come la stai preparando merita almeno una Radeon II

Se usi una scheda quadro di livello medio alto non puoi usare Catalina non ci sono gli nvidia web drivers per il resto i test li guardò ma sono sempre relativi agli interessi in gioco se sei obbligato ad usare Catalina non puoi usare Nvidia, quadro o GeForce che sia se usi High Sierra puoi comprare le schede Nvidia di derivazione Pascal (chip) non puoi usare le serie più nuove e quelle che usciranno perché Apple non accetta più driver Nvidia per quanto riguarda i test benchmark se le tue applicazioni usano pochi cores come accade ad esempio spesso con after effects o premiere allora più la cpu ha un boost clock alto e più va meglio io uso felicemente la suite Adobe ultima con high Sierra ed ho le stesse performance che ho in windows e il mio caso..vedi firma è un po’ particolare ps ripeto con catalina no quadro, no nvidia card😊

Con Nvidia e Catalina parti malino... nessun supporto per schede avanzate Nvidia Quindi se vuoi usare gli ultimi OSX devi per forza passare ad AMD per la scheda Grafica La radeon VII va molto bene e non risente dei problemi che hai avuto con il tuo portatile Io utilizzo la suite adobe e Davinci Resolve a livello..diciamo medio... Sono rimasto su Nvidia perche' HighSierra secondo me e' ancora il miglior sistema apple e la mia Titan Xp e' pienamente supportata Quindi verifica bene le problematiche, multi camera, software..che per me non sono verissime.. e poi scegli cosa ti piace di piu' e puoi permetterti 😉 Per I consigli ci sono le guide sul forum e diversi utenti che hanno ancora il sistema che avevo io piu' o meno...

@Rox67er if our trx40 could boot without those kernel patches with host...we had had aN Apple supported chip in our rig😊😊 More than vanilla I mean😂

About Enermax Liqtech TR4 II I have bought one from amazon and also one from warehouse The unused one has the opening of the box on the short side while the warehouse one on the long side. The one used has the instruction booklet with the copyright of 2018 on the last page The new one does not have this indication. Are there also different models of the second version of this AIO?

I have always checked in disassembled kernel max cpu init as pikeraplha said some time ago to check from my old dual xeon 2696 V4 dual rig. This is "how to.." 1.) otool -tVj /S*/L*/Kernels/kernel > kernel-disassembled.txt 2.) open kernel-disassembled.txt 3.) Search for: “_ml_init_max_cpus:” 4.) Look for: “cmp rcx, 0x3f” 0x3f means 63 (counting from 0 we have 64 cores/threads) I think if Big Sur is really new and built for apple silicon cpu..maybe they have unlocked this part

Ciao @ovetto420 ricorda di togliere la cartella Apple quando posti una EFI per evitare inutili appesantimenti per chi la scarica Pe quanto riguarda la tu scheda sembra avere il bios UEFi quindi e' una condizione ideale per funzionare Hai anche weg attivato.. nel caso puoi provare prima di cambiare id vari un'altra porta video della scheda? oppure anche a disabilitare WEG e vedere cosa accade
