verificale prima o prova con le tue.. poi e' facile ripulire il config da quelle di Mojave ed highsierra

Per quanto riguarda poi l'aggiornamento, io ho aggiornato da software update..e poi su un altro disco ho fatto una installazione da zero per testare la qualità della mia EFI 🙂

cata_BS.plist.zip queste in allegato sono quelle utili per far partire/installare /aggiornare sia Catalina che Big Sur utile per snellire la lista di patches che hai nel config (soprattutto se usi solo questi due sistemi) letto ora il resto per il BT non so rispondere, ma molto probabilmente con Big Sur ti funzionerà lo stop A molti di noi con AMD non andava su Catalina e si e' sistemato da solo (senza modifiche) su Big Sur

mi sembra manchi qualcosa a livello di quirks, no tutto OK scusa ho rivisto meglio 🙂 con questa parti regolare su Catalina? Hai altri sistemi che vuoi far partire con la stessa EFI?

Welcome here probably is a problem of your motherboard Sleep is working fine with radeonVII in big sur for sure in catalina some problem to have success you have to play with your MMIO and bios settings

leggi parecchio e se credi prega 🙂 scherzi a parte..devi impostare per bene diverse cose con il nuovo clover, in particolare quirks.. e la preghiera serve nel caso hai dei preboot con cartella all'interno che puntano ad altri sistemi rispetto a quello che stai aggiornando..capita che clover si sbagli.. ma magari a te non lo fa

I think it is a cable or monitor problem..but from here I can't say more now you have a pretty basic configured system, you can try to run some benchmark aqs Cinebench 15 and cinebench23 also luxmark3.1 give a great stress test on gpu then..you can try to add stuff you need (wifi? ethernet kext for your Gigabyte and so on...

No need for me to boot all systems I have, proxmox included.. but I have no investigated so much

in the latest two configs I have added dummypowermanagement flag (I do not need of it but I have seen gigabyte users use it)
