  1. Thank you @tsongz i think problem is different, maybe driver related or acquantia id related not investigated so much because using i211 is fine for now..and the big problem for me is to have a working gpu with proper acceleration..i have not for now
  2. @meina222if you have a disk with any osx installed...not a virtual file ..a disk i mean put my config and use a minimal set of kext and driver efi important things are: patches devirtualizeMMMIO enabled and then start it from that efi it is pretty simple. you could have some headache due radeon vii..or your xt..but it is more simple to try that to explain
  3. as info for all..it is possible to boot in bare metal or in Proxmox with the same bios settings Bad..very bad news..Our (mine) trx40 has not a native NVRAM For now I am not be able to activate my Nvidia Web drivers in High Sierra so I can't do a computation with GPU test CPU is the same Under load in CB20 I see 360 watt of power draw 🙂 Used AMD Per Gadget tools to monitor it this thread for Bare Metal discover or simply to talk about :9
  4. I would like to have these stuff in Proxmox 😂
  5. With attached config I can boot in "vanilla" mode in OSX Tested in High Sierra, Catalina next goal for me is to activate Nvidia Web Driver in this "vanilla" condition I have done some test for CPU The same benchmark posted before in a Proxmox/Osx environment Problem with some apps..but this is usual Vanilla method problem (adobe, davinci, etc)
  6. Ok it works bare metal works in Catalina 10.15.6 for now I have no audio e no ethernet (aquantia is seen by default but no cable connected message) cpu benchmark are the same like Proxmox i can’t test gpu Performance Ok audio is fine and also ethernet is working (no Aquantia but intel i211 with SmallTreeIntel82576.kext
  7. @iGPUcould you post a screenshot of about my Mac memory section? i would like to see how 32gb modules are seen in your rig i have bought four modules but there I see 8 slot full populated with 16 gb modules each also other users with 32gb modules type if possible thank you
  8. La legislazione non è chiarissima sull’argomento però concordo sullo stare tranquilli da capire con la virtualizzazione cosa accade sempre a livello legale
  9. BIG news (not verified by me, in my case it is not working) It boots 🙂 see video below 😂 It seems @Pavobooted with big Sur in A vanilla mode some problems to solve but for him it is booting now 🙂 for me no... You creators users could try 🙂 ops only you @iGPU others users are Asrock 🙂 fabiosun's EFI and ioreg System Description: Ploddles's EFI and ioreg System Description: Arrakis's EFI and ioreg System Description: mSedek's EFI and ioreg System Description: Rox67er's EFI and ioreg System Description: UPDATE 17-07-2021:
  10. not curious IMHO I think it is related with PCIE slot sharing lines with NVME and this could be a problem it should be to try to detach all name disk only a star disk and GPU and TB card to see
  11. about 32gb ddr4 module could you post (user with 32 ddr4 module) a screen grab of about my Mac memory slot? thank you
  15. @iGPU if we were able to rename in sf0 tree it should be useful to our goal? thanks to gengik84 I have some renaming working on sf0 tree folder I think also we have to study how to add additional bridges on qemu cfg files maybe main problem is there for us
  16. I would avoid to use any kext to improve gpu performance. test GPU with real application like davinci resolve or adobe media encoder if you are not interested only to improve geek bench results😂 by the way In my rigs imacpro stays the best smbios I used from x99 system To trx40
  17. https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07Y4ZZ7LQ/ ora a 284 € per 64Gb (2x32gb)
