if you need to connect a Thunderbolt audio external card, I would change your Auros with a Designare EX More chance to have it fully working because bios has an internal support of thunderbolt options
-
USB audio will be fine in the most of the case For thunderbolt device (audio or not) is a different story
-
NO 😛

I do not know Technolli... but for sure your system could work I have had one of the best trx4 air cooler (dark Rock Pro TR4) but it is not enough you have to play with a liquid cooler I have one you could see in my signature (it is bad review..but if you find the right one it is perfect (AIO related I mean)
-
Point 2 and 3 without any problems with almost all app available point 1 could be more tricky Logic Pro works perfectly but not all its plugin also thunderbolt device could be a problem..it could work well with patched firmware but it could have also some limitations in its use I am not an audio guy..but I am reading a lot about it 😉

I hope this CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 is only to start..because if you will use PBO feature..that cooler is a bit low for your beast ! 😉

hi @darkenergy2020 welcome here I do not understand if your system starts or not.. you can try some EFI posted in main discussion thread of users with your same motherboard About thunderbolt..it could work with flashed tb firmware
-
@jasin755 post a debug log could help maybe having an Asus board you could try efi posted in @cleverhomethread (nulling to start his mmio and overall his huge device properties list 🙂 ) also post where your system hangs could help a bit 😛

@Arrakis if your system is stable you can avoid to use any of those boot alcid not useful for our trx40 internal audio also for usb audio is not useful would leave only -v to see verbose just in case also some kext is not useful I think mcedisabler? Without have you a kp? I do not think so also smcamdprocessor kext not useful if you use latest version of AMD Power gadget utility this to start backup your efi first if you will try these advices😉 Applealc kext not useful for usb or internal audio only useful for hdmi/dp audio..

I will simplify those lists of devices and see system must start also without nothing there ...
-
hum weird I have only disabled your huge device properties list.. if you compare with your config posted
-
@Arrakis -v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 alcid=1 swd_panic=1 latest two boot args useful for? could you explain? thank you

config.plist.zip try this, but you have too many stuff in device properties 🙂 backup your config before I can't read your IOREG by now because I have a different software to read it sorry use this if you want to save it

fiuuu it is hackintool 🙂 joking this for me is wrong I do not thing is an error of Hackintool you have to check well
-
BRavo maybe to much stuff but you have understood well 🙂 if you want..could explain how to do for others? 😉 ASM1062 Sata is not loaded..have you tried to use some kext? like AHCPIunsupported.kext or similar for ASMEDIA SATA controllers? I think some errors there..Aquantia should be an ethernet card..but..ei maybe I am wrong and you are learning by now 🙂 🙂

however it is a big improvment I am ashamed and a little embarrassed to tell you that I no longer have my EFI proxmox working 🙂 I have to research it, but when I got the Vega 64 I tried to do several restarts but I don't think I had the problem, I also seem to have written it As soon as I can try again

@cleverhomedownload PowerTool app from our download area (always @Gengik84app) 🙂 see this videos to understand better: compare also with my files: txt files are from PowerTool save plist is my device properties, you can check here how you have to name stuff 🙂 Pci Devices.txt.zip DeviceProperties.txt.zip my device.plist.zip

hi @cleverhome I'm happy that Dortania is adjusting the game regarding our platform, maybe they are following our progress too 🙂 Regarding MMIOs, each motherboard has its own and even the same motherboard with a different Bios version can have different ones. It is important to use and calculate your own and not to take those posted by other people. The explanation is a little out of our thread and my knowledge, I can tell you that OSX writes on some parts of memory and it can happen that some devices do when used. If these memory areas are not available for OSX, we have problems (ie kernel panic or other problems) for that we tend to where it is possible to give them back to OSX management by putting them to skip = 1) As for Device properties, I personally use an app that @Gengik84 is developing Soon it will be available for everyone in our download area. For the moment it is possible to use either systemsearch (an app in the download area) or Hackintool, an app that provides you with the plist to insert in your config.plist to get this:

quella di cui sopra e' una funzione (bootlog sequenziale e non sovrascritto)che sarebbe stata molto utile quando ho scremato le patches che mi servono su AMD.. meglio tardi che mai!

Benvenuto 🙂
