I would try as a real 3970x so 32 + 32 then it should be better (for performance) 64+0 but try 32 +32 as all of us to have a correct comparison then solve also your MMIO problem do not mix stuff from VM or bare metal keep them separate 🙂

difference in windows is so high with 32+32 cores+ threads? or with your default 64 +64? 44000 it fine if you use 32+32 but I would like to see a jumping frequency and a higher TDP

Stai usando un valore piu' vecchio di quello corretto ma non e' grave dovrebbe partire ugualmente puoi calcolarti quello corretto con varie utilità scaricando anche clover configurator ultimo dovrebbe darti il valore corretto altrimenti ricopi quello proposto nel tuo config sezione SMBIOS

Dopo aver avuto successo e aiutato diversi utenti a farlo andare ha funzionato anche senza virtualizzazione da allora uso il sistema che usi tu senza virtualizzazione

@tuxyci abbiamo pure mezzo litigato per questa cosa 🙂 parlavi di Morgonaut 🙂 cerca nel forum internazionale la guida su Proxmox.. ora non lo uso piu' perche' funziona anche in bare metal, ma all'epoca ho pubblicato una guida per far funzionare TRX40 in virtuale al massimo delle prestazioni passando tutte le periferiche o quasi 🙂 se vai qui e' il canale YouTube del forum e trovi i video fatti durante il periodo della virtualizzazione
