Si, diciamo che la moto attualmente monta il penultimo bios 2. Nei giorni scorsi è uscito il bios versione 3:

La 0905 la trovo su insano. Ma quando la provai sulla moto precedente mi dava problemi col profilo XMP delle ram. Ora sarei mezzo tentato di riprovarla ma qualora mi desse gli stessi difetti con le ram a quel punto sarei costretto a flashare alla ultima versione bios e sarebbe come andare al buio.

all'epoca uscirono subito dopo la 1000 qualcosa la 1101 e le ritirarono..

io con la 0905 non avevo problemi avevo le ram che ho qui

XMP non lo usavo

lasciavo tutto in auto e mettevo solo la frequenza corretta (a me 3000)

Ok adesso provo. In realtà giorni fa per far funzionare HWMonitorSMC2 avevo appunto tolto fakesmc e inserito virtualsmc più i vari kext tra qui quello che mi hai indicato.

On a real Mac with native OSX XCPM power management, the MSR 0xE2 register is unlocked and therefore writeable. However, on ASUS mobos this register was usually read only for ages. When the kernel tried to write to this locked register, it caused a kernel panic. This panic could happen very early in the boot process, with the result that the system freezes or reboots during the boot process. We could circumvent the MSR 0xE2 register write with a dedicated KernelToPatch entry in the config.plist, namely "xcpm_core_scope_msrs © Pike R. Alpha" and by enabling the "KernelPM" in the config.plist in Section "Kernel and Kext Patches" of the Clover Configurator.

Thanks to recent modifications in CodeRush's Longsoft UEFIPatch distributions and thanks to three sophisticated MSR 0xE2 Register patches provided by @interferenc (partly former work of CodeRush, Pike Alpha and Adrian_dsl), we were able to successfully patch any ASUS X299 mainboard BIOS firmware distribution and unlock the MSR 0xE2 register. The patched ASUS mainboard BIOS firmware finally has been uploaded to the specific ASUS X299 mainboard by means of the ASUS EZ BIOS Flashback Procedure. This made the "xcpm_core_scope_msrs © Pike R. Alpha" KernelToPatch entry obsolete and allowed full native read/write MSR 0xE2 register access by the OSX kernel.

Perché  quando cerco di installare Clover non si installa per spazio insufficiente su disco? Lo spazio c'è eccome. Cioè sto reinstallando Clover nel disco dove c'è Catalina agendo dal disco clonato da CCC

Ho caricato il bios  0995 che è considerato quello migliore per la configurazione della mobo con macOS. Configurato secondo quanto riportato da fabiosun nel suo topic.

Ma i problemi , con grande sorpresa, restano invariati rispetto al bios che aveva la mobo di default e cioè una versione più recente.

Ho anche provato fare update del bios ad ultima versione di aprile la 3001 e ....mamma mia...la macchina con Catalina non si avvia proprio. 

 

Quindi, tirando le somme, io con questa mobo ho perso davvero la pazienza e come diciamo qui in Sardegna "ce la lampo" (cioè ce la butto).😡😁

 

Vado sulla Designare Ex. Altre alternative non ce n'è mi pare.

mi dispiace @Extreme™ per i problemi che hai 

purtroppo io non la ho più' quindi per me e' impossibile capire cosa e' che non va..

so che ad altri utenti funziona molto bene, quindi escludendo difetti hardware sarà qualche particolarità nel tuo sistema da capire ed affinare

Ho avuto come sai anche la designare che come piastra e' indubbiamente più' bella.. pero' personalmente con quella non sono mai riuscito ad avere lo sleep funzionante. Molti utenti hanno problemi con la funzionalità thunderbolt (in designare e' integrata) anche utilizzando ssdt..

Cmq se hai provato tutto come sembra..forse per te e' una alternativa (speriamo valida)
