  1. I tested all of the USB ports with various flash drives I have on hand including ones which identify as 2.0 Type A, 3.1 Gen1 Type C, 3.2 Type A, all do appear to be working although I have yet to conduct read/write tests. attempting BRg0 now...stand by
  2. Stand By, rebooting now... Here is the IOREG after adding SSDT-XHC.aml backinblackx86_IOREG_v5_SSDT-XHC.zip
  3. Here is the new IOREG for v4 with the added .aml. No Aquantia yet, hmmm. backinblackx86_IOREG_v4.zip
  4. Fabiosun's "V4" booted...now adding Lorys89 "SSDT-DISABLE-D0F0.aml." I added SSDT-DISABLE-D0F0.aml to the ACPI section, rebooting now...
  5. Enabled PBO and EXPO in the BIOS and here it an updated Geekbench: https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/4551232
  6. Single Core / Multi-Core: https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/4550973 OpenCL: https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/compute/1648711 Metal: https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/compute/1648706 note, EXPO has not been enabled in the BIOS.
  7. Here is my current IOREG with the 6800 XT and the SATA III now connected to A_SATA according to the motherboard block diagram. backinblackx86_IOREG_v3.zip Not much has changed with the EFI but here is what I am currently booting with, still in debug mode. backinblackx86_EFI_v3.zip
  8. Rainy night here in NY. Computer troubleshooting time well spent. I have only tried Set 2. I also set "DisableIOMapper." Stand by... Yes, this EFI booted! However, I no longer have active USB ports.
  9. While the temporary SATA iii SSD is still hanging outside the case, I swapped the Gigabyte RX 560 4GB for the AsRock 6800 XT 16GB gpu. I added the appropriate pikera bootflag and am in the system. Next I will test the EFI that Lorys89 shared above.
  10. After I re-enabled usb4 in the bios, I tested one of the USB-C ports with a flash drive and it did mount automatically. In the past I have only used USBMap in python. https://github.com/corpnewt/USBMap I am open to all suggestions to improve the stability and performance of this system. Issues currently: 10GbE is disconnected - Have attempted the Casey set 2 patches and quirk. Internal Sata identified as External - In the past I have used Innie.kext (https://github.com/cdf/Innie) Open Core Boot picker is very long, perhaps because of all the debug kexts and flags. None the less, a major achievement. I will pull the 6800 from another system.
  11. all the thunderbolt 4 devices at my local stores appear to be docks or displays Okay, I am booted back in with Shanee’s patch enabled. Going to boot back into BIOS and enable USB4…still no 10gbE RestrictEvents is working…
  12. well….without the algrey patch, I believe….there was display as a bright yellow and now it has reached the desktop extremely slow graphical performance without either patch enabled…
  13. I do not have any TB4 devices to test with but I may go shopping for one. The AQ ethernet has still yet to populate even with the patches set to true and the quirk, I am attempting to boot now with the algrey patch OFF. I will then give USB4 enabled a try…stand by….these reboot take a very long time….2 minutes to see the boot picker
  14. Here is the IOREG with the tool linked by Lorys89. Keep in mind, I have yet to boot with Maple Ridge/USB4 Enabled backinblackx86_IOREG_v2.zip
  15. Yes it is enabled...also when I opened your last config.plist in OCAT, it reported "Kernel->Patch[18]->Replace requires ReplaceMask to be active for corresponding bits! Kernel->Patch[19]->Replace requires ReplaceMask to be active for corresponding bits!" https://github.com/vulgo/IORegistryExplorer Using this tool?
  16. your plist boots but the Aq controller does not appear. I am going to attempt enabling the two patches now
  17. Okay, I backed up the EFI and swapped out the config.plst, going to reboot now. Stand By...
  18. https://github.com/CaseySJ/Aquantia-macOS-Patches Yes, I intend on backing this up. Can’t understand why loading the boot picker is so long, over 45 seconds
  19. Yes this board is Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7, my PopOS linux does not detect it either. The board does have the 10GbE NIc, I believe similar to the ASUS X670E board, I am aware of CaseySJ patches for it. I will try enabling the Maple Ridge USB4 and see if it boots next.
  20. Couldn't have done it without you fabiosun! I am interested in what you changed to make the system boot. I will add Restrict Events kext to correct the CPU name and the Memory error notification as I am familiar with it from my recent 5900x AM4 system. I do have an AMD 6800 XT that I can add to the system as this 560 was pulled from the previous 3rd Gen Intel system and of course, for performance sake, I will source a Western Digital NVMe.
