  1. my local micro-center location has the “ASUS TRX50-SAGE Pro WS WiFi AMD sTR5 CEB Motherboard” https://www.microcenter.com/product/674949/asus-trx50-sage-pro-ws-wifi-amd-str5-ceb-motherboard
  2. After those changes, Monterey will still not boot. Sonoma did however.
  3. the 6900 and 6950 are higher scores of Gigaflops, but my Vram Speed is faster! @fabiosun
  4. Disabling Gatekeeper allowed me to run the benchmark application. Attached is a screenshot of my Trx50 results.
  5. I cannot open the benchmark software on Ventura or Sonoma. I disabled SIP and the .app failed to launch with the terminal.
  6. Hello, the fresh installation to my NVME was successful. I copied the EFI and all is well. The system appears stable.
  7. Hopefully there are some breakthroughs in AMD 7000 series GPU support… https://github.com/ChefKissInc/NootRX
  8. Cinebench R15 was a pain in the butt to run...had to manually allow each under Privacy and Security
  9. Well as the title states, I have the following system. CPU: AMD AM4 5900X 12-Core (https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-9-5900x#product-specs) (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/amd-ryzen-9-5900x-4th-gen-12-core-24-threads-unlocked-desktop-processor-without-cooler-black/6438942.p?skuId=6438942) Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK "MAX WIFI" (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B550-TOMAHAWK-MAX-WIFI/Specification) (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/msi-b550-tomahawk-max-wifi-socket-am4-usb-c-gen2-amd-atx-gaming-motherboard-black/6504286.p?skuId=6504286) GPU: XFX 6800 SWFT (https://www.xfxforce.com/shop/xfx-speedster-swft-319-amd-radeon-tm-rx-6800-core-2) (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/xfx-speedster-swft319-amd-radeon-rx-6800-16gb-gddr6-pci-express-4-0-gaming-graphics-card/6559272.p?skuId=6559272) NVME: 1TB WD 850x (https://www.westerndigital.com/products/internal-drives/wd-black-sn850x-nvme-ssd?sku=WDS100T2X0E) The nvme contains 3 vanilla installations of Monterey, Ventura, and Sonoma. Primary issue: Monterey will NOT boot. Attached is my IOREG, EFI, and SYSREPORT backinblackx86_AM4_5900x_SysReport.zip backinblackx86_AM4_5900x_EFI.zip backinblackx86_AM4_5900x.ioreg.zip @Lorys89
  10. I will send the AM4 information directly to you as to not confuse this TRx50 thread...
  11. I cannot seem to find a source for a working MacOS Cinebench R15. Any way you could post it @fabiosun ? Will do, oddly the AM4 system actually does boot Sonoma and Ventura, just not Monterey. It too has an AMD 6800...stand by
  12. Over all, I am very happy with the progress of this TrX50 machine....now what to do with it? I should shoot some 5.5K footage, it sure has been a while since I used a NLE. 🙂 Great work team.
  13. Well that all worked out...as proof of my post above, booting from usb4 ports with an external NVME worked well. Much to my surprise the system booted both my Monterey installation, something my AM4 system will not boot, as well as Sonoma. Attached are screenshots of system profiler alongside the About this Mac window. I did find this on IA for Cinebench...not sure if it contains MacOS...still downloading https://archive.org/details/cinebench_201907
  14. Somewhat of a dual purpose test: I pulled an NVME disk from my AM4 setup that contains vanilla installations of Monterey, Sonoma, and Ventura. I connected the drive to the rear USB-4/TB port with a USB-C NVME enclosure rated for 10 Gbps, purchased at my local Best Buy (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-m-2-nvme-to-usb-c-ssd-enclosure/6500317.p?skuId=6500317) The OpenCore Boot picker (loaded from the EFI on my SATA SSD) showed the NVME drive's installations as "external" options and booted right into Ventura without fault. While technically not a TB device, it did work! Next I will give Sonoma and Monterey a go...as well as the older CBR15...stand by
  15. No particular reason, just the recovery installer that I had on hand. I will attempt Sonoma as well as CB R15 and report back.
