About Enermax Liqtech TR4 II I have bought one from amazon and also one from warehouse The unused one has the opening of the box on the short side while the warehouse one on the long side. The one used has the instruction booklet with the copyright of 2018 on the last page The new one does not have this indication. Are there also different models of the second version of this AIO?

I have always checked in disassembled kernel max cpu init as pikeraplha said some time ago to check from my old dual xeon 2696 V4 dual rig. This is "how to.." 1.) otool -tVj /S*/L*/Kernels/kernel > kernel-disassembled.txt 2.) open kernel-disassembled.txt 3.) Search for: “_ml_init_max_cpus:” 4.) Look for: “cmp rcx, 0x3f” 0x3f means 63 (counting from 0 we have 64 cores/threads) I think if Big Sur is really new and built for apple silicon cpu..maybe they have unlocked this part

Ciao @ovetto420 ricorda di togliere la cartella Apple quando posti una EFI per evitare inutili appesantimenti per chi la scarica Pe quanto riguarda la tu scheda sembra avere il bios UEFi quindi e' una condizione ideale per funzionare Hai anche weg attivato.. nel caso puoi provare prima di cambiare id vari un'altra porta video della scheda? oppure anche a disabilitare WEG e vedere cosa accade

OT do you know people with a 3990x using hackintosh? i was researching on kernel code the usual 64 cores /threads limitation we have on all osx till catalina i cant find this core limitation in big sur kernel.. have you some info about this?

Fai prarica con il tuo sistema usando clover puoi facilmente abilitare o disabilitar gli ssdt che hai nella cartella acpi/patched e anche disabilitare i vari rename o patch se usi qualcosa. Cosí puoi capire se sono utili o meno per te ora il punto debole del tuo sistema é la scheda grafica, se ti serve il sistema per un utilizzo grafico prima o poi andrá sostituita con una AMD importante che ora hai il tutto che va..e piano piano completi come ti serve.

ciao Klaus non sono un esperto di ioreg e per quello meglio aspettare @Gengik84quando ha un attimo pero' da quel poco che capisco io per la CPU non stai apposto ancora (non mi pare di vedere il PM corretto li) visto meglio Per la grafica si..ma li ti ha dato una grossa mano WEG Per le USB, forse puoi evitarti di usare la patch per il port limit (non so che config usi al momento) Forse anche qualche rename nel config lo puoi evitare.. poi, senti l'audio tramite HDMI / Display port? oltre che dagli speaker intendo cmq aspetta chi ne sa di piu'...

@iGPU thanks to your settings I can say now weird sound is related with cpu fan speed I will try more these settings but I can also say I like this way, fan are ramping only when I need more fan cooling thank you again

@iGPUwhen you have time can you post a screen capture of your BIOS settings for Cpu fan and Pump? Temperature with Enermax liquid cooler are very good, but I have a weird whistle I can hear (it seems a sort of coil wine)and also Cpu fan have too much ramping also in idle Thank you

@Driftwood I do not not what AMD master is 🙂 I am saying I have very different behaviour if I put in my PBO bios option enabled instead auto mode with enabled CPU is pushed during test as rendering or in OCCT stress test @ about 4000 Mhz not graphic card related. CPU I mean
