    no @jsl2000 has your cpu 8 cores? if so with 0 patch you use in your config it is no good now I am solving a problem caused to me from new patch and the experiment but patch you use has no mask so you have to fill better replace if 8 cores 8-1=7=07 then also count should be to 0 in that initial patch @jsl2000you have also to enable quirk: ProvideCurrentCpuInfo

    pay attention in my case and only tested with other bootloader this PR new patch is not working.. I can use the one posted on insanelymac by algrey (useful only for OSX greater than HighSierra) So if you want try @your own risk as usual with a solid backup to recover 😉 post your config.plist only you should also post a debug..just in case 🙂

    and this is my patches list now to boot from Big Sur to Monterey beta 3: Patches_BS_MR_1_2_3.plist.zip You have to add (in initial position this): Force cpuid_cores_per_package from @Shaneee PR or with old one published on insanelyMac by Algrey (with cores number -1) now without -1 for your cores number (not tested by me because i am using a different way) so core count with above patch is: 32 cores - 3970x =2 0 24 cores - 3960x = 18 16 cores - 3950x = 10 10 cores = 0A 8 cores = 08 6 cores = 06 Update: I prefer to use old patch for "Force Cupid_cores_per_package" but for someone could be fine to use it also Update:2 Patches in PR works also in clover bootloader , it was a error of mine (missing Procedure on it)

    @A23SS4NDROmy was a question not a statement I have seen your link i boot with 960 pro in OS X it seems I have not any delay i will check better maybe ten seconds from boot menu to login page for trim I always used default custom config posted in opencore doc

    @Jaidyi did only davinci candle benchmark for graphic gpu is about 5% slower than latest Big Sur cinebench23 is the same as previous os

    thank you @iGPU it works also in M-ß3 😉 with kext: without kext: Nvme in this pictures is on a pciEx card and it is seen by default as Apple SSD Controller Or Samsung 960 pro is more compatible with apple? IDK

    these are patches AMD OSX maintainer would like to insert in a quirk with Shaneee pull request, with these you can bypass a lot of patches enabling that quirk If opencoredevs accept it would be possible to to reduce the list of visible patches in Kernel/patch section

    also clover 🙂 but it needs more patches @Ploddlesit is not a special tool 🙂 it is a quirk and I have talked time ago here AMD OSX Patches maintainer have done a pull request to add some patches to this quirks all we have in open core available I have had an opencore debug boot loader with all these patches inserted in it Only one patch is not public otherwise I wouldn't be able to boot in Clover Booloader

    ciao controlla nel tuo config le patches 44 e 45 alcuni ottengono discreti risultati con la 45 quindi se puoi abilita quella e disabilita la 44 @tomnicha lavorato molto per questo problema e puo' essere piu' esaustivo di me

A breve sarà rilasciata una versione di Opencore che consentirà attraverso un quirk di avere un numero molto ridotto di patches, per Clover per il momento non e' possibile usufruire di questa riduzione, fino al completamento della "clonazione" del sistema kernel patches e quirks Ho avuto la fortuna di provare una versione in anteprima di Opencore 072 DBG e con poco piu' di 1x patches (x >1 ,x <7 ) 😛 e' possibile far partire ed usare proficuamente i sistemi che ho in questo momento! macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Big Sur 11.4 Big Sur 11.5 beta 5 Big Sur 11.5. (20G701) Monterey 12 beta 1 Monterey 12 Beta 2 Monterey 12 Beta 3 Ho fornito i log dei seguenti sistemi e speriamo che venga pubblicato il tutto al piu' presto! Grazie ai devs! 😉 ------ Big news for AMD users.
