Hi and welome to the right place 🙂

If you like add your complete hardware spec in your signature and we would try to boot in this pioneristic system 🙂

Post also your EFI and a sysreport as requested

Your MMIO is also BIOS Uefi dependant so you have also to configure well your Bios

I would do in this way

System bios Default

Disable any Com port if present

Uefi ON

CSM OFF

4G ON

ResizeBar OFF

post a log (This to see if MMIO change modifiying your motherboard bios)

Thank you for the response. I have updated my signature with my system specifications. We have a timezone difference since I am located in New York. Earlier this week I successfully created an AM4 Ventura/Sonoma system, therefore I am familiar with the AMD Vanilla patches (https://github.com/AMD-OSX/AMD_Vanilla) however the TRx50/Zen4 platform is new to me for MacOSx86. I have studied the Open Core Install Guide (https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/), specifically the steps pertaining to KASLR-FIX (https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/extras/kaslr-fix.html) and CaseySJ's post on the AMD-OSX forum about AM5 in general and MimoWhitelisting (https://forum.amd-osx.com/threads/ryzen-7000-testing.3318/post-25894). So far I have been unable to boot the Ventura recovery installer. In my post above, I shared my recent config.plist as well as Open Core Debug Log file. I will boot into my BIOS and record my specific settings. In the mean time, I copied what I have posted to AMD-OSX (https://forum.amd-osx.com/threads/ryzen-threadripper-trx50.4776). There I was told "Since you're using a DEBUG version of OpenCore, just set Misc>Debug>SysReport: true" I will give it a go and report back.

I created a fresh OPENCORE GPT volume on a 16GB USB 2.0 disk. The disk contains 0.9.7-DEBUG along with a com.apple.recovery.boot folder of Ventura.

EFI/OC/Drivers

HfsPlus.efi
OpenRuntime.efi
ResetNvramEntry.efi

EFI/OC/Kexts
Lilu.kext (1.6.7 debug)
VirtualSMC.kext (1.3.2 debug)
WhateverGreen (1.6.6 debug)
AppleALC.kext (1.8.8 debug)
LucyRTL8125Ethernet.kext (1.1.0 debug)
AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext
SMCAMDProcessor.kext (0.7.1)
AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext (0.7.1)

EFI/OC/ACPI

SSDT-EC-USBX-DESKTOP.aml (Pre-built)

I launched SSDTTime and dumped the DSDT, however, I am not exactly sure what to do with it.
I opened up ProperTree and performed a "clean snapshot" of my OC folder with the sample.plist renamed as config.plist.

Booter>Quirks>DevirtualiseMmio TRUE
This is new to me: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/extras/kaslr-fix.html

VERY slow to boot the USB…painful but it did make some progress…

currently hanging at : Couldn’t alloc class “AppleKeyStoreTest”

I think you miss something in your config

for now try this your modified config.plist

i have added sysreport flag

post the entire folder you find in your EFI partition

WHITELIST_TRX50_SMBIOS-removed_config.plist.zip

By the way i cnat see your signature

if you like put the specs here as a post and i will update it for you

I would also disable two visual kernel patches for your config

Please, SystemReport is a folder Opencore creates in your EFI partition

from there is it possible to see if you need DSDT patch as AM5 platform with latest bios and SSDT-CPUr ssdt

Your bios setting seems to be fine maybe you could disable ResizeBar till system doesnt start well

Hello, I have returned from an outing. I do have a spare disk here to attempt installation with. I will give the EFI a try and return with my results. I do prefer Linux more and more these days....but the ACPI and OpenCore are exciting

I found a spare Samsung 840 Evo 1TB SATA III SSD and connected it to my motherboard. It currently has an APFS ”container” for another system so I added a volume titled “VENTURA.” Although the disk is connected to an internal header, it is identified as external. Regardless, the installer is currently running….
