  1. @jsl2000clover dev is trying to port new feature to install correctly new Montereys beta, I will wait they finish their work for now is a bit confused in my opinion I am using latest clover as my second bootloader and I have no problem on BS 11.6.1 and on MR beta 10 (installed with Opencore I mean for beta 10) Your working config is a bit...very confusing me you beat record of used patches there 🙂 You mix new patches with old patches..I have to read it better to understand Have you a working clover config for 1700x for all OSX you need? without freeze I mean
  2. @23d1have you calculated your exact MMIO whitelist or are you using @driftwood one?
  3. @23d1 no extra idea..it is weird here is pretty simple PBO disabled or auto max tdp under 280 w PBO enabled (smart overclocking and max tdp about 375 watt till temperatures is moderate) we should compare Bios option and behavior with other Asrock creator user like @Driftwood 🙂 )
  4. @23d1 1-SSDT-PLUG.aml.zip try to declare this SSDT in your ACPI/add section (copy it in ACPI folder) and see if something happens Config is fine , i think is a problem related to your bios (version/settings) In window your CPU scale well (min/max frequency and TDP i mean)
  5. @valmeidayour driver section is a disaster 😛 in 075 and before many things are changed Check to start driver section , it should be as you can see below
  6. @23d1could you post your config.plist?
  7. maybe I was not clear I would like to see this: during Cinebench test with PBO enabled it is a bios problem AMD app if you do not modify basic feature or option is not responsible of lack of performance

    Windows 11

  9. In my previous testing in windows OS with resize bar bios option I have no difference in usual benchmark I do, some people say a good improvement is in games I can't say because I have no games In OSX this new features seems also a bit unpowered and not complete (not sure about this), then we have to have hope that initial OpenCore implementation is working well for all users (and AMD users are not so considered well from Opencore's devs 🙂 ) So, for these reasons I am not investigating hard in this field (beta OS if used in Monterey and beta bootloader...and more beta resize bar option) Benchmark also in OSX for me is not affected. To improve GPU benchmark is better to concentrate our efforts to Soft PM Power table because, our 6900 xt in heavy utilisation could throttle and undervolting it a bit produces in my case better result in luxmark3.1 @DriftwoodEnergy Saver option could be different if you use or not SSDT-plug or CPU power management. mechanical disks in my rig so an option more is there!
  10. To have PBO enabled you must have a proper cpu cooling system but to prove a thing you can try this: put it enable in bios boot osx open AMD power gadget tools run cinebench cpu benchmark one time (off multiple tests) check tdp with amd power gadget max tdp value i mean You will be astonished check the same with auto or disabled for PBO option in poor cpu cooler condition PBO in auto or disabled produce pretty same tdp value as side note a huge tdp value produces tremendous temperatures and a tiny improvement in benchmark
  11. Could you post a screen grab of your PBO bios settings? thank you
  12. @iGPUI am using same energy saver options you have but if I use 10 as value in new quirk I have a bad wake (black screen), I have to use 8 performance with geek bench 5.4.1 is the same in my case

    Windows 11

nooooo mi hai spostato la bandierinaaaaa
  14. @23d1you know , I loved Proxmox way 🙂 but results in optimal situation was very similar and a bit lower than bare metal for all of us The advantages of proxmox were others, greater compatibility with Adobe apps ... but today I don't see valid reasons to still use that kind of virtualization (albeit advanced and fantastic)
  15. Enabling resize bar on bios and in config with a value of 10 could cause a sleep/wake problem during wake stage (black screen or reboot) A solution was proposed on Hackintosh-forum.de from hackmac004 setting quirk value to 8 solves wake problem
  16. 64 cores is better than 32 c+32 threads cant you use also in bare metal 64 cores option without hyper thread? in cinebench 23 my best result is about 47000 with PBO enabled you will see also a wattage increase if PBO is enabled ( not auto, not disabled)
  17. KVM should be a bit less fast than Bare Metal or, in an ideal condition, kvm has similar values
  18. 075 and resize bar feature break Sleep/wake cycle here System does not wake anymore after sleep I cannot see any improvement in my graphic benchmark for now.
