Purtroppo non c'e' verso di tenere il retro originale. Con un G5 non e' un problema, ma con il macpro occorre un kit che aveva messo a punto un ingegnere elettronico cinese, ma che non e' piu' disponibile e non ha piu' voglia di farne altri. E cosi' mi sono trovato costretto ad acquistare un kit da laserhive che e' arrivato oggi. Domani mattina devo andare a comprare i dischi di taglio per metallo del dremel che sono rimasto senza........... Partenza dei lavori. Sinceramente pensavo che la placca posteriore che fosse piu' invasiva. Non e' il retro vanilla, ma non e' neanche uno di quei ravatti enormi per mac che ho visto in altri store di case modding.......... E queste sono le parti segnate con la matita che devo segare via........... Intanto a colpi di martello faccio saltare via tutti gli attacchi della scheda madre crApple

mi pare che elpimps su discord abbia una vega 64 visto che è stata raffreddata ad acqua, hai fatto 30, fai 31 magari puoi provare a tirargli un po' il collo da macOS con una app che genera delle voci personalizzate nelle properties della vega https://github.com/corpnewt/VGTabMerge

For trx40 users (nostalgic users as @iGPUfriend said above) 🙂 Attached are all the patches you can try to convert to use with Clover Bootloader from v5124 or greater following this schema posted by Slice on IM: Attached on this post also Original AMD-OSX Experimental patches for Opencore and all the declination for each existent OSX system now. I left them in the opencore format like this, to use them you have to be really interested in it. 🙂 . On IM, few volunteers are helping the sole developer in the titanic undertaking. I personally do not participate as I do not share some things in the testing method adopted, but even if not directly involved, I try all the materials they produce both official and in beta. The advice I can give is that the current versions have several bugs not tracked correctly, on all platforms but especially on ours. However, with a little patience, with the materials available you can make everything work even on trx40. I advise you, if you venture into this task ... use a config for each system you want to start. There are some problems on the recognition of the OS, fundamental this point in order not to mess up the kernel patches we use! 😉

Hi @jncasey, The aforementioned patches are not disabled due to any known issue - I just experimented with a minimal set of quirks and also checked what others were doing to boot and run. As @fabiosun mentioned the Dortania guide is not accurate with respect to AMD based systems, and the documentation as to why these quirks are "recommended" is poor and does not always apply to MacOS on TRX40.

devi considerare che un 3% da un bench all'altro è fisiologico e nella norma, per cui con e senza WEG non è che sia cambiato molto, io lo lascerei certo è che hai una vega64 con il freno a mano tirato nel BIOS, ma il raffreddamento a liquido, esce così o è stato fatto dopo? tanto per dire, ma vega 56 NANO della power color che ho nel mio ITX Z370 anvedi 😄
