  1. pay attention SSDT TB4 is a bit problematic and read well the instructions and overall the disclaimer said @by Lorys 🙂
  2. Yes for CPU name my bad for resources (i have no checked that part of your original EFI)
  3. with V4 have you seen a graphical menu and correct CPU name? if so i woud use this EFi for futher progress on your rig
  4. @backinblackx86 here an EFI with other set of Casey's Aquantia patches Also added a graphical boot menu and minor adjustment If it starts well could be your base EFI for further tests (i have seen in V3 EFi you keep disabled some kexts..but you could also keep on AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement if you like to see correct CPU name backinblackx86_EFI_v4.zip Backup yours and try this If Aquantia doesent work the same you can delete many patches in config.plist kernel section Others modifies done: 1)Uncheck Hide Ausiiary button because in this tests could be useful to see reset Nvram and toggleSip option 2) deleted some bootargs and kexts 3)added some uefi drivers (ToggleSip and ResetNvram) 4)added second set of patches for aquantia (some doubt they work..) 5) deleted unuseful and unused ssdt/DSDT
  5. Have you tested both set of Casey’s patches? I do not remember it was also useful to add DiasableIOmapprr quirk about usb mapping, I use a SSDT done by Lorys now is dinner time in Italy i think in the next days we could help to refine your Efi and lorys could help you to do it at it’s best
  6. @backinblackx86if you want to refine better your system you can follow @Lorys89advice to map your usb ports in a perfect way he is our ACPI GUFU ( GUFU is better than guru) 🥹
  7. use as i said the other patch. it should work and is faster than algrey one It is a pity but it will work fine 🙂
  8. ok enable Shanee patch and leave disabled Algrey one it is a pity TRX50 needs of one of it
  9. from my latest config put yes on two acquantia patches if only the quirk is not enough then disable algrey patch (i hope it will work without it)
  10. config.plist.zip @backinblackx86here i added the quirk and the set 2 of the caseys's patches for aquantia if you like to try then we should do another tries disabling a patch 😉 let me now if you want to try
  11. there is also a quirk you can try before I do not have modern experience on acquantia ethernet
  12. now i think you should backup this EFI/Config and try things you only can do 🙂 Maybe, something could be unflagged in your new TRX50 platform
  13. Important thing wrong was SSDT part I added one created by@Lorys89which has inside many things you need (CPU rename and other stuff) I think you can try also TB4 ports because they should be identical to mine Wireless could be problematic , but if it is an intel wifi you can try adding some kext test also front speaker port and headphone if you can post also an IOREG of your system to see better You can also adjust orange icon if you have
  14. Yes you have also USB audio as TRX40 and some AM5 motherboard. very good The good things you doesnt need of fix patch and this is good for GPU performance i hope when you are ready you will share some cpu Benchmark 🙂 very curious because i think you are the first one with thi platform to boot in OSX
  15. Ok, restrictevents will help for CPU name as you know Do you see clicking in audio icon on the bar other devices? to grab a part of your screen you can click Option shift 4 and drag a box
  16. Yes, i used few kexts to boot try audio from backplane and front i think your backplane audio should work without any kext Colors seems a bit weird
  17. I appreciate in other forum your patience and calm to setup well this system Wonderful case I think that this PC deserves a good NVME disk for OSX 🙂
  18. I also believe that with the practical demonstration that TRX50 can work too.... you will make several people here spend a lot of money 🙂
