I'm enjoying HackCheck; it's very nice! Thanks. I don't know if this is useful, but HackCheck crashed. I don't know exactly when it crashed as I had left the computer ~ 2 hours earlier. The screen saver was active. Only after entering the screen saver PW and seeing the desktop did I notice the Apple crash report window. Attached is the content of that window. macOS is Big Sur 11.5 beta 2 (20G5052c and 20G70) on TRX40. One thing I did just before entering the screen saver PW was switch keyboards: a new KB was plugged into a USB port and the old OK unplugged, then I entered the PW with the new KB. So I don't know if the crash occurred because of the USB swapping or had already happened as the computer sat idle. It's happened again. HC crashes if left open when screen saver is running (or, more accurately, it has crashed after stopping screen saver to re-use the computer). Both times, the screen saver has probably been running for at least 1 hour. HackCheck-crashLog.txt.zip

GRAZIE! Un ottimo lavoro fatto con estrema competenza e professionalità. E' proprio grazie a questa piccola - ma grande allo stesso tempo - applicazione che ho scoperto che la codifica VDA funziona. Circa un mese fa mi avevi aiutato a risolvere il problema del messaggio di errore dal terminale con lo Script VDAChecker. Sembra che si trattasse di un difetto "cosmetico" perchè Hack Check indica il corretto funzionamento sia del Decoder/Encoder HEVC che del Decoder VDA (vedi allegato). Davvero un gran bel lavoro, speriamo solo che non venga caricato su altri siti magari appropriandosi anche dei meriti di chi ha compilato questa utilissima applicazione.

OC EFI Maker è spettacolare. Se posso permettermi però, lo script dovrebbe chiedere la cartella di destinazione e non tenere conto della cartella home utente perchè non sempre è /Users/nome_utente Io ad esempio ho la cartella utente un una partizione di un volume quindi il mio desktop del mio utente è in /Volumes/nomeHDD, ho risolto creando una cartella /Users/nome/Desktop

serve più di un post all'attivo, quindi ricontrolla e verrà sbloccata automaticamente

Provato su una Z390, ora si avvia con OCQuirks e NVRam è nativa, fatta una prova veloce senza controverifica, magari lo tolgo e si avvia uguale, ma avevo provato precedentemente e OCQuirks non si avviava, mi pare eh...
