One other thing to consider from Intel experience, if weird things happen, your BIOS may be corrupted. The solution is to re-flash BIOS, then re-do you settings. Next, I would literally remove as many things from your computer as possible. Only USB-2 KB/mouse, no other USB connections. Also, look at Energy Saver setting inside System Preferences. I would check Prevent your Mac... and uncheck the others. Finally, boot into your most recently stable OS (Big Sur 11.4?), let it run for several minutes to see if re-boots or freezes. If okay, then proceed with booting into Monterey on another disk.

@Arrakis this one is not a patches problem: "An error occurred while preparing for installation….." I would try to download again the installer

Rifai la USB da Windows con il metodo legacy boot https://macos86.github.io/installer-guide/mac-install-recovery.html e manda codec audio, modello di tastiera e di trackpad seguendo quest'altra guida https://macos86.github.io/find-hardware.html, non appena ho tutto provo a farti una EFI con OC

@jsl2000 if you use this quirk as I see in your config: ProvideCurrentCpuInfo you can disable these 2 patches: then if you have how I see first two patches you can try to disable all patches you see with core logical string in comment section... if you use also clover you can test easily with it this my latter assertion

@Arrakisdownloaded your EFI, there is a minimal correction on it you can do I think patches maintainer will update as soon they can also their GitHub: algrey - _cpuid_set_info - GenuineIntel to AuthenticAMD - 10.13/10.14/10.15/11.0/12.0 21.99.99 should be 20.99.99 (maxKernel) this has already been reported and will be corrected shortly

Hi, I can boot BigSur 11.4 stable on my Ryzen 9 build with Clover and this reduced patch set sent by @fabiosun, will try with Monterey Beta1 as soon as possible. Using Clover revision: 5137 (master, commit cc561f87d) config.plist.zip P.s.: with the same bootloader I can boot Mojave - Catalina - Big Sur using this configall, some warnings about empty find field but it boots and works fine! configall.plist.zip

I tried the PS Poropopo edition patches. It boots into Big Sur, but not into Monterey beta-1. The Quirk settings were:
