@iGPU Wonderful job for simplifying the patches. I am using your patch except the last two. The job done is so good that I don't even need the argument : cpu_topology_sort -disable _x86_validate_topology in the garbage 😄 I envy your talent in this area. So since I had some time today, I tested the Big Sur 11.5 Beta 4 installation. Without installation problem, everything works. So my current EFI is valid from 11.4 to 11.5. I just changed the patches, the rest I haven't touched and nothing in the bios either. As a reminder Above 4g decoding: enabled Thanks again to all of you for contributing in your spare time to perfecting the hack on AMD. Since I started, not even 1 year ago, I can see the difference in the stability of the system. And since switching to BigSur I find that there is a marked improvement. Maybe I will have some time this weekend, I would like to test Monterey but I would like to know if I can choose the version that works with the patches.

Ancora siamo certamente lontani da una versione accettabile: alcune operazioni impallano la macchina a tal punto da richiedere un riavvio, tralasciando poi tutte quelle parti “incomplete” (per non dire inutilizzabili) e non ancora funzionanti. Riguardo le prestazioni? Il sottosistema dopotutto è quello, ed esse sono in linea con Windows 10, anche se un pelino inferiori. Insomma, siamo proprio ai primi approcci. Curioso il fatto di come, al momento dell’uscita di una versione beta, per quanto acerba possa essere, molti di quelli che la provano gridino al miracolo (“com’è stabile, fluida, velocissima!!”). Quando invece, come in questo caso, semplicemente “funzionicchia”… Ma ben venga l’entusiasmo positivista 😄 Restiamo in attesa di osservare quando e come, parallelamente a quello che già funziona abbastanza bene, anche il resto sarà ottimizzato. Adesso è davvero troppo presto per trarre conclusioni sulle novità. Non sono cambiamenti epocali, ma solo una mescolata al minestrone...

Credo sia il language pack che non è proprio perfetto , anche a me ha lasciato diverse cosucce non tradotte 😉

As Ploddles was alluding, the timer may be going too fast. Change Timeout to 0 and there will be no auto-boot until you select the drive and press Enter. Also, use the ScanPolicy value below to ensure that all devices are properly seen in the menu for selection.

Ho appena provato ad aggiornare tutti i kext come hai detto tu, ma sembra che il problema persiste. Mi scuso se le foto sono sfocate ma, il computer si riavvia senza darmi la possibilità di scattare una foto fatta bene. EFI.zip

Esteticamente è un bel passo avanti rispetto a W10. P.S. perché in Impostazioni hai "Bluetooth & devices", mentre in Esplora risorse hai "Dispositivi e unità"? Hanno deciso di tradurre solo una parte delle scritte? 😅

Ciao, credo si possa escludere anche questa ipotesi, in quanto pure io avevo aggiornato da BS a Monterey però poi per sport 😆 avevo riscaricato il pkg e fatto un installazione pulita della beta1
