Try during bios post to press f11 or f8 function key (I do not know asrock one to select boot disk on bios post, see if you see your usb if not your usb is wrong made remember to format it properly I will see your progress tomorrow morning1 point
-
yes from our download area download InstallMaker before download on your IMAC OSX you want to install (instalMacOS.app I mean) then you can create your bootable usb if you want you can also clone your IMAC osx on a new disk with carbon copy cloner then put on this one a bootable EFI (Opencore boot loader is the best a secure solution)1 point

@shutterbug168 please try to force sleep from menu then post always latest opencore debug log file to see in it if MMIO are skipped in a good way as we set in config if you can reset also your nvram from opencor menu press spacebar if you do not see nvram reset icon which gpu do you have?1 point
-
@shutterbug168if you want open a thread in general area with the name of your motherboard and CPU used, so we can focus there about your problem And we will win also in this 🙂1 point
-
@shutterbug168 mmmhhh here it seems fine to me It is your debug log? Post also exact EFI you are using without your serial because this log is good and you shouldn't have shutdown problem1 point
-
mmmhhhhh 😛 😛 MMIO list is different for your board Also if user have the same your board you have to check in your debug log... ah sorry..you have an old signature I think..but that said above is still valid For thunderbolt you need a proper SSDT.aml file to add in ACPI folder and in your config.plist more skilled people to adopt one for you is @iGPU1 point

sorry, maybe I explained myself wrong. I just wanted to say, in case I had hurt the jumper between the two pins or if the internal USB cable didn't work ... what happens? I ask this because I can't see any peripheral in windows if I connect it to the thunderbolt port with a type C cable (USB stick or disk) 🙂 🙂 you have given a like also to this post 🙂1 point
