In this thread is possible to post benchmarks with owned GPU ('s) Candle benchmark for DaVinci Resolve Studio Thread is open also for unsupported GPU in OSX like 6900 xt, 6800 Xt, 6800 (we hope in a near support for them) but also it is possible to post results for Nvidia GPU like RTX series that will never be supported by OSX (Sob 🙂) I will start with mine GPU, you can see in this video On YouTube a simple video showing initial Davinci resolve setup (OpenGL / Metal or Cuda if it is available) If you like you can post your results using a screenshot for frame rate in different environment you use It is welcome any new GPU benchmark (AMD rx 6900 xt and similar 🙂 🙂 ) You must play inside Color page and take note only there of your maximal FPS Attached useful file for this benchmark Candle benchmark.zip

It wasn’t a bad motherboard as I suspected but crappy bios programming. Flashing f4h with default cms on makes uefi bios cards non postable in slot 3. Stripped all slots and moved my nvidia 240 in slot 1 - voila, posted.

@carlo_67 stai usando solo AirPortOpenBSD anche per il bluetooth ? hai la possibilità di disattivarlo perchè da me rimane sempre attivo ... Mi rispondo da solo : ha bisogno di IntelBluetoothInjector.kext per poterlo attivare o disattivare ..... da me tutto funzionante .....

su AMD tranne casi molto particolarei mappare le USB non serve per provare la tua scheda grafica scarica cinebench R15 e luxmark3.1 e provali

We (OSX users) have to hope for a new Radeon Pro for MacPro 2019 users..i do not think this is an impossible task otherwise it will be the end of some tasks in OSX till apple will produce a great M1 GPU..i do not think it is possible till 3/4 years for now..only speculation from me 🙂

no a meno che il dispositivo usato sia difettoso e lavori solo in 2.0, oppure dipende dal controller asmedia che fa uno switch anomalo le asmedia sono native come 3.1... ma 2.0 e 3.0 è meglio completamente intel

@meina222 I think this is a similar problem you have in windows with openGL video refresh Some time happens also in Big Sur beta...witing is the solution..it solves by itself with a bit of time xmeina_problem.mp4

@Perdu ora hai la patch e tutte le usb visibili quindi ti dovrebbero funzionare tutte le usb. quella frontale del case di fatto è collegata su un hub interno e se questo avesse problemi non dovrebbero funzionare nessuna potrebbe essere difettosa proprio quella porta sul case

ah ok you are not in a studio version but in public version..It seems, some effects do not apply in (not) Studio version maybe a trial version..

Many thanks @Ploddles for this test it seems it performs like a Nvidia 1080ti or Titan Xp How I have said before I am a bit disappointed of this result because they are a bit less than previous Radeon VII GPU I hope it is a bad driver...but very weird what AMD has done.

It compares pretty well if you don't have unlocked playback frame rate a green 24 frames means your gpu play well during the test, in my case on my Vega 64 I have 14 fps during 66 node test About 20 during 6 TRN nodes test with my old Titan Xp I had about 20 on 66 nodes test and I think about 30/31 on 6 TRN nodes test (I do not remember well

could you try to boot with key function and choose your disk with inside EFI? see also if you have in the bios boot disks list an "Opencore" disk imy motherboard the key is F11 , i do not know yours

fai attenzione se stai facendo i conti cercando su trovaprezzi poi, in generale se compri su amazon sempre meglio un venduto e spedito da amazon anche se spendi qualche euro in piu'

if you lucky boys (TM 🙂 ) have a windows installation..you could try something like Cinebench r15 (gpu) and also luxmark3.1 if they work fine 🙂 @Ploddles a puget benchmark for AE or DaVinci if you use them...will be a dream 🙂

se non ti interessa hackintosh.. 1) hai sbagliato forum 😛 2) va bene anche la z390.. 🙂

il tuo scopo principale e' avere anche hackintosh facile o puoi farne a meno o doverci perdere piu' tempo per farlo andare? ti chiedo perche' se sei arrivato ad 800 di budget senza video... potresti optare per una asrock steel legend x570 e metterci un processore in base alle tue tasche espandibile nel tempo la configurzione che hai messo ha un punto debole nella piastra madre (z390) e nei soli 8 gb di memoria

A parte gli arricchimenti acchiappa polli da sistema operativo in giu forse non prenderei una z390 pero', per fare una valutazione onesta se non si e' in grado di montarsi da solo un pc da zero.. prendi gli stessi pezzi che ti propongono e cercali sua amazon i prezzi maggiorati di amazon vanno a coprire le spese di manodopera per chi ti offre il servizio 😉

su ebay ora dalla Cina spesso le trovi anche in Europa

si altrimenti ti bannavo 🙂 comunque quella cpu, 22 core + 22 thread oggi la trovi a 400/500 euro mettici duecento di piastra madre, un pizzico di ram..e via dicendo con un 1000 euro ti fai un pc senza nessun collo di bottiglia 🙂 😛

ho avuto quella CPU ora li trovi a molto meno se cerchi cerca 2696V4 e' la stessa OEM della 2699v4 che hai linkato 😛

mah..... ps io se leggi in firma non sono il massimo per consigliarti su questo tipo di hardware 🙂

Se ci lavori ti consiglio il cambio 🙂 non rimarrai deluso ed avrai due opzioni (MacOS e windows nel caso Più in la poi se il livello delle lavorazioni lo richiede potrai metterci una scheda grafica piu' adeguata Per quella configurazione o una vega o meglio una Radeon VII se scendono i prezzi 🙂
