64 max total cores / threads is not only a XNU limitation, but also a hardcoded limit in AppleACPI and similar crucial boot kexts... you can "bypass" the 3F cores limit by a kernel patch, Pikeralpha studied about it, but for personal (tragic) reasons he had to retire... so limit is still present and, right now, not avoidable: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/316804-80-core-hackintosh/

I'm so happy to say that after struggling for almost 4 weeks my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh can boot Tahoe beta2 by the newest Clover 5162 now. The only issue was unable to enable its internal I211 adapter as AppleIGB which cause very slow boot to desktop and very unstable system soon later ! Also AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext must be disabled to prevent KP with Lilu.kext. config.plist.zip EFI-5162.zip

Hi everyone, that's my first post in this community. I haven't Hackintoshed at all yet so this also my first time hackintoshing. I have an old broken Mac Pro 5,1 from 2010 that I can't repair so I decided to imitate Linus Tech Tips by building a workstation Hackintosh inside it. I want more than 64 threads and as I've chosen to use two Xeons E5 26xx v4 (I'll define later the precise model) I want them to have Turbo Boost unlocked. The motherboard I'm thinking about is the Huananzhi F8D, a Chinese E-ATX motherboard. That brilliant guy made a GitHub repo with the EFI and a guide to reach what I want but with the 64-threads limitation. Is there a workaround for that? Thanks in advance
