Supervisor fabiosun Posted April 10 Supervisor Share Posted April 10 As soon as possible i will fill with a working EFI 🙂 These below are ACPI patches useful to avoid ACPI errors with bios 1203 patches_OC.plist.zip As always thanks @Corpnewt aka CorpGhost on AMD-OSX discord to do them for us 🙂  link  Configuration in detail: Case ThermalTake Core X9 PSU Enermax 1700w platimax Asus ROG CrossHair x870E Hero 192 Gb Corsair Vengenage 6400 Mhz 4x48Gb 2 6950xt 16 Gb GPU ( 🙂 ) 2 KC3000 Nvme Kingston 2 Tb 2 Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1 Tb 2 SSD 4Tb each 2 HD 20 Tb each  I did an initial working EFI. to support 6950xt OSX needs a spoof to 6900xt One slot needs additional SSDT bridge  I did also a fast USB mapping , i have to refine it better Attached my working EFI  Pay attention: Intentionally i didnt build a MMIO whitelist Area but i have used DisableVAriableWrite quirk to boot without MMIO declaration I do not advice to do the same , and you should build your proper MMIO area to whitelist  System works wonderfully and the only things i can see it is not working are ASMedia USB4 and WIFI because i do not want to disassamble ASUS motherboard plate , in a future maybe i will do as last information i am using 1203 Asus Hero bios        Spoiler         ASUS X870E Hero_Clover_tahoe.zip ASUS-X870E Hero-OC.zip

Nick White
Hi Fabiosun, Is the sleep function working fine with this motherboard? I am considering between ProArt and ROG CROSSHAIR mainboards. I intend to use it with Ryzen 9900x, should that work fine? I've seen some discussions around tha cpu not being recommended. Thanks in advance for your advise. Thanks in advance for your advise. I think it is the best solution! 🙂 in my case all things work (only realtek ethernet doesnt work and also USB4 ports dont work) Audio is USB audio (you have to map properly your USB) 9900x works (i have a 9950x but you have only to change core count patch i think) Sleep works
Nick White
Thanks, actually you inspired me to upgrade to one of those two configurations. Between the two mainboards ProArt or ROG CROSSHAIR which one you consider more stable? I saw that ProArt doesn't require ACPI patching while ROG CROSSHAIR does. Supervisor fabiosun Posted July 3 Author Supervisor Share Posted July 3 If you can afford an Asus Hero (if in your country is available) i would buy it i had both but Hero is far away better The only pro for Proart is about 10 Gbit Aquantia ethernet I prefer Hero because i use 2 6950xt and slot space is better EDIT: also internal wifi is not working for both..but i have mounted in internal wifi a broadcom (on proart is more simple to do because hero has a huge backplate)
