jsl2000
Before BIOS update I can boot Clover 5141 and OpenCore 0.7.5/0.7.6 successfully without any issue. However after BIOS update I can boot OC only, if booted by Clover 5142 it always got reboot after ++++++++++++++. I have tried to downgrade of BIOS or Clover all in vain. Can anyone check my Clover's config.plist or EFI.zip and give me some help ? config.plist.zip EFI.zip Edited December 11, 2021 by jsl2000

Supervisor fabiosun Posted December 11, 2021 Supervisor Share Posted December 11, 2021 Ok I think problem is OSX 12.1 have you tried to boot with 12.01? in my case with clover I need to reset Nvram a couple of time to have success booting in 12.1 12.01 is fine if you can try to reset nvram from your log patches are loaded as it should be I think Clover dev have to implement better latest OpenCore features

Is it present in more modern MB for Intel 9th/10th generation & AMD TRX40 MB ? In my Z490 hackintoshs it's located in Advanced> PCI Subsystem Mine is ASUS Crosshair VI Hero which was produced in 2018. I can disable ResizeAppleGpuBars in Booter & ResizeGpuBars in UEFI with Clover 5141. Edited December 12, 2021 by jsl2000
Supervisor fabiosun Posted December 12, 2021 Supervisor Share Posted December 12, 2021 @jsl2000 If I have understood well your problem You have had a working system (1700x CPU) working both with Clover 5141 and Opencore 0.7.x Then, you have updated your motherboard bios Set back all options in it in the same way you had before Now no boot loaders work for you If so, for you is not a boot loader problem (5142 has many problems but it is unrelated ,I think, for your actual problem) I will double check bios option and I will reset Cmos and then I would try again with my latest working EFI with a previously checked and working OS (not latest beta)

For clover 5141 It can past ++++++, then frozen after something. So I guess I need modify something in Clover's config.plist.
