Salve a tutti, esiste una guida su come eseguire un ryzentosh dual boot con HDD separati (Windows - MacOS)?

 

Possiedo le seguenti componentistiche:

MOBO: Gigabyte Aorus B450 Elite 

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: Asus Rog RX560 OC

RAM: Crucial Ballistix 16 GB 3600MHZ CL16

Basta installare, nell'ordine che desideri, macOS su un disco e Windows sull'altro. Se non sai da dove iniziare scrivi pure

non esiste qualcosa che all'accensione del pc ti faccia scegliere cosa avviare?

 

un tutorial su come installare macOS? in inglese non riesco mai a seguire e non capisco bene i passaggi e sopratutto non capisco come settare il boot EFI

Non sono sicuro della compatibilità della GPU, ora controllo e ti faccio sapere. Tu intanto inizia a fare la USB con macOS seguendo queste guide nell'ordine in cui le invio (tranquillo, è scritto in inglese molto basic, aiutati con Google Traduttore)

La GPU è perfetta 😉 Installa windows su un disco togliendo il secondo, una volta fatto stacca il disco con windows e installa macOS con Clover / OpenCore. Infine lascia come disco di avvio quello di macOS in bios, ci penserà Clover / Opencore a darti la possibilità di scegliere quale os avviare ad ogni accensione del PC 😉

Ok, scollega fisicamente tutti i dischi lasciando solo quello dove vuoi installare macOS ed entra nel BIOS, resettalo alle impostazioni predefinite e cambia queste impostazioni

Disable

  • Fast Boot
  • Secure Boot
  • Serial/COM Port
  • Parallel Port
  • Compatibility Support Module (CSM)(Must be off, GPU errors like gIO are common when this option in enabled)

Enable

  • Above 4G decoding(This must be on, if you can't find the option then add npci=0x2000 to boot-args. Do not have both this option and npci enabled at the same time.)
    • If you are on a Gigabyte/Aorus or an AsRock motherboard, enabling this option may break certain drivers(ie. Ethernet) and/or boot failures on other OSes, if it does happen then disable this option and opt for npci instead
    • 2020+ BIOS Notes: When enabling Above4G, Resizable BAR Support may become an available on some X570 and newer motherboards. Please ensure this is Disabled instead of set to Auto.
  • EHCI/XHCI Hand-off
  • OS type: Other OS
  • SATA Mode: AHCI

okay dopo tutto ciò do come input di boot la USB e dovrebbe andare tutto in modo tranquillo con scritte e dopo di che la solita mela giusto?

Si, se hai fatto tutto correttamente in pochi minuti dovresti arrivare all'installer. Hai scaricato Big Sur o Catalina?
