Ploddles
@fabiosun,you don't nerd to download and install the macOSDeveloperBetaAccessUtility.dmg. A quick Terminal command is all that is needed. sudo /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Seeding.framework/Resources/seedutil enroll DeveloperSeed

meina222
To update from beta 7 to beta 8 one needs to disable SecureBoot. Update now downloading without requiring full installer (tip read on InsanelyMac forums). Upgrade successful. No, just a manual frequency profile in BIOS. I set it at 3200 (and infinity fabric at 1600) manually and do not use XMP1 profile. But even with XMP1, MacOS sees it as 3600, so perhaps it's not that. fojerhar
Is anyone here tried who has Asrock trx40 board here, if the asrock thunderbolt 3 aic r2.0 will work with it under Catalina? On the site these boards are not supported, but I have Thunderbolt enable menu in my bios?
meina222
Judging by the price rumors ($499) is probably falling short a bit of the 3080. That said, this is a very good price if you can actually get it and beat the 2080ti. I'll be happy if the card is even available to buy. Radeon Pro VII turned out to be vaporware (announced in May, still nowhere to be found).
