xlillo Posted January 26, 2020 Share Posted January 26, 2020 Ciao a tutti. Il pc in firma funziona bene con 10.15.2 Catalina, solo che mi chiedo se possibile non usare Whatevergreen. Catalina ha il supporto nativo delle schede AMD 5700, quindi in teoria dovrebbe poter andare. Ho letto da varie parti che WEG si "mangia" il 15-20% di prestazioni della gpu. Ho fatto varie prove ed appena tolgo WEG ricevo solo uno schermo nero. Per info il monitor è collegato tramite display port. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Support Team iCanaro Posted January 26, 2020 Support Team Share Posted January 26, 2020 prova ad usare nei boot-args gli agdpmod, ora non ricordo quale sia dei 3 quello che serve agdpmod=vit9696 disables check for board-id (or add agdpmod property to external GPU). agdpmod=pikera replaces board-id with board-ix agdpmod=ignore disables AGDP patches (vit9696,pikera value is implicit default for external GPUs) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Redduc Posted May 20, 2020 Share Posted May 20, 2020 Spero di non essere off topi ma con la mia XT 5500 8gb non sono riuscito ad avere un avvio senza black screen dopo la barra di caricamento, utilizzo anch'io SMBios Mac Pro 7.1 ma anche provando con iMac Pro 1.1 e iMac 91.1 il risultato è il medesimo e vorrei capire dove sbaglio Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
