giacomo.dessi2303 Posted December 16, 2019 Share Posted December 16, 2019 Salve a tutti, avevo provato a installare catalina sul mio hack (che attualmente monta Mojave) appena uscito ma a quanto ricordo c’erano problemi con la scheda di rete (Atheros AR965) e la scheda video (Intel hd graphics 5500) sapete se i kext sono stati aggiornati o avete trovato metodi alternativi per far funzionare queste cose? giacomo.dessi2303 Posted December 21, 2019 Author Share Posted December 21, 2019 Questo mi pare di averlo già provato ma niente .. la mia idea era quella di prendermi tutti i kext di daflaut su Mojave che riguardano il Wi-Fi e sostituirli con quelli di Catalina.. un po’ come si fa con i driver video per far funzionare la hd3000 anche se non è supportata.. Ho provato di tutto, ho anche rispolverato i vecchi kext che usavo su Sierra e high Sierra ma niente, sto Wi-Fi non ne vuole sapere di funzionare... non è che bisogna applicare qualche patch (magari un fakeid) a livello di config.plist o DSDT? giacomo.dessi2303 Posted December 31, 2019 Author Share Posted December 31, 2019 Ora reinstallo Catalina da zero che ho fatto un casino con i kext... comunque ho visto che su mojave ho solo installato con kext utility “IO80211Family” e funziona il Wi-Fi senza AirportAtheros40, ATH9KInjector (ovviamente devo tenere il fixup e la bootarg in clover) che dici riprovo facendo solo questo e ti mando l’hack info per vedere se carica bene i kext?
