Supervisor fabiosun Posted April 14, 2019 Author Supervisor Share Posted April 14, 2019 Grazie ad un utente (maleorderbride) di IM per far funzionare la scheda di rete della mia nuova piastra madre in OSX dovevo fare questo: Boot into an Ubunutu thumbdrive, then open terminal. Do the ifconfig to find your port names. I've done this on three different SAGE/10G boards and they had slightly different port names. Then enter your port name where I have "enp170s0f0" and "enp170s0f1". The rest of the command will remain the same. After you enter all eight lines you are done forever. You can now install the retail releases from Smalltree without doing anything special at all, or move its kext to /Other for ethernet in Recovery HD. Intel X550-AT2 (ASUS X299 SAGE/10G) ifconfig sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f0 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x240 value 0x86 sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f0 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x241 value 0x80 sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f1 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x240 value 0x86 sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f1 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x241 value 0x80 sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f0 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x242 value 0x0a sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f0 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x243 value 0x00 sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f1 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x242 value 0x0a sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f1 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x243 value 0x00 con Giacomo si e' trovato un modo (lo ha trovato lui io ho solo testato e capito il da farsi mentre me lo spiegava) di far funzionare la scheda senza flash vari e solo con tre kext modificati opportunamente...
