Prendo spunto dalla build di Tomnic per un secondo hack da dedicare esclusivamente alla produzione audio....una domanda, è possibile avere i settaggi bios per la ASRock Z690 phantom gming 4 che vorrei abbinare all'i7 13600k?

If you use a flashed GC card you don't need to connect the cable to TB Header on Motherboard otherwise the controllers will not work! TB Header i sonly needed for non flashed cards! A regular GC card will work on Hackintosh but you will not have hot swap function like you can have with a flashed card

Ciao...vendo la tr con firmware patchato solo ed esclusivamente perchè non la sto più usando...è da tanto tempo oramai che sono passato a windows anche per un discorso di "facilità" nel reperire alcune DAW. Comunque quando la utilizzavo con la mia UAD non avevo alcun problema di compatibilità ne avuto mai blocchi del sistema. Ovviamente usavo l'SSDT creato tramite il link web indicato nella procedura di patch della scheda.

Vendo completo di cavo modificato e firmware Elias64FR.bin patchato. Spedizione inclusa nel prezzo finale che è di 150 Euro. Nessuna imperfezione o malfunzionamento.

I'm trying to install Mojave on my ryzentosh but installation process doesn't start....of course it dependes from missing kernel patches for Mojave. I search in github and there is a list of patches....but i'm as a newbie with AMD hacks so could someone help me to find the correct patches to use with Mojave?

Finally, after several doubts and after 10 years of Intel Hackintosh builds i decided to switch to this new platform. The one who suggested and helped me with this new kind of setup was fabiosun. I'm still testing and not finished my build...it's work in progress but i hope to finish and complete this thread during Christmas Holidays. Cpu temp are quite low (35°/55° max) because the cpu demand using Native Instruments or other VST plugins is not so high. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi work without issues, USB ports too. Shut down works with ERP enabled too in Bios. Only if i attach an USB3 hub to any of the rear USB ports after 3 seconds of shut down the system restart. I must still investigate this problem. But my "victory" is thunderbolt 3....an hackintosh is not a full working machine without thunderbolt! I use a Gigabyte Titan Ridge Card with patched firmware. It's in the last PCI slot, port 7 enabled, it recognizes my audio interface and hot plug works without any issues! I'm using Big Sur, and i've no reset or hangs. Every music production app i use is running without problems, so Native Instruments, Omnisphere Keyscape and Trillian, every VST plugin like Zebra, Diva etc. I don't use any graphic or video app so i don't need a "big" GPU. I sold my Radeon VII waiting for RX 6900XT support. Now i've an old Nvidia GTX 680 with 4GB....it's native and it's enough for me now! The only app i cannot use is Parallels Desktop and wine like Crossover. When i launch a Windows machine with Parallels the system restarts. If i use a windows app with Crossover bottles i've exception error with the app. Maybe it's normal with AMD cpu...but atm i don't care about this issue. BIos settings are the same as arrakis build. Some voices from 1.0 motherboard rev. and 1.1 are differents. I will try to attach screenshots of my bios settings too. @ArrakisOk i set up my system and i tried your EFI but maybe you did some mistake in packaging it because i've no image found so i tried to use 0.64 release with your config and kext and now i'm able to boot. Please can you upload again your updated EFI?

I'm waiting my new designare with 3970X cpu....i will start with your efi to see if with a different cpu BS will start too. Did you put in 1 slot the videocard, and thunderbolt? In 4th slot? Can you insert pictures of bios settings?

Maybe i was not clear with my question....i mean this. I have a titan ridge thunderbolt controller already patched and with tb cable jumpered. i actually use this controller with my x299 system...fully working hot plug etc. port 7 enabled etc. Last week i tried to setup a ryzentosh following fabiosun directions and using the same hw configuration and EFI he uses. So the thunderbolt was properly seen by osx, port 7 enabled etc. But when i switch on UA audio interface the system restart. Instead..if i switch on the audio card before booting osx everything work correctly, the UA is recognized and fully working. The problem is only when i switch on the interface when osx is running. That's why i would like to know if someone with audio interface connected to thunderbolt card have the same issue!

Anyone with thunderbolt controller and UA audio device working on ryzentosh?

unfortunately I decided to abandon the project to switch to rizen....thunderbolt audio card has issues with this new system so maybe in future if all problems will be solved I will consider again my choice.

I decided to "switch" from X299 to AMD platform....i'm waiting parts. I started to "study" something about this new platform and i hope my thunderbolt peripherals will work!....Fabiosun you are warned!!! 😝

I read that you use your hack for music production purposes....so with threadripper do you have any problem with music app like cubase/logic/kontakt/omnisphere etc? and with hardware? what kind of audio board do you use?

Quindi come pensavo ti avevano venduto la mia Sage difettosa e resa dopo neanche 1 settimana 😄 Scherzi a parte....per l'Ethernet io ho flashato da Ubuntu la lan....seguendo il consiglio dell'ottimo e caro amico Fabiosun. La procedura è rischiosa e se non te la senti di rischiare usa il kext ma onestamente non ricordo dove e come va utilizzato...sicuramente devi copiarlo in S/L/E e non nella EFI. Comunque se ci sono riuscito io a flashare.....e poi c'è la guida che ha scritto fabiosun ed è molto chiara ed esaustiva. Per il Thunderbolt devi usare l'SSDT allegato. Per le porte USB perchè hai la necessità di mapparle? Io non l'ho fatto e funzionano tutte alla grande! SSDT-X299-TB3HP.rar

A questo punto prova con il reso o fai aprire un RMA da Asus...ma ti sconsiglio questa ultima ipotesi perchè i tecnici Asus sono tutti dei minchioni e ti farebbero recitare la novena prima di darti l'ok alla sostituzione!

Ti elenco i problemi che ho avuto con la prima Sage acquistata e poi restituita ad Amazon....avevo freeze continui in OSX. Provai diversi bios ma nulla....c'erano sempre questi freeze. I windows idem, partiva e si avviava regolarmente ma quando iniziavo ad aprire chrome o un'app si bloccava mouse e dovevo riavviare tutto Decisi quindi di restituirla e chiedere la sostituzione. Con la nuova non ho avuto alcun problema mantenendo il bios 0905 che non cambierò mai. Prova la EFI e OS e se non parte secondo me devi chiedere un RMA. In windows non dovresti avere alcun problema... Ma i settaggi bios li hai messi così come ha descritto fabiosun nel suo thread?

@Extreme.....ti allego la mia EFI funzionante sia con Catalina che con Mojave....provala e se non dovesse partire allora prega in armeno 😂 Considera che io utilizzo una Radeon VII come scheda video e controller thunderbolt più le schede che già ho descritto. Fammi sapere... PS non penso che passare dalla Sage alla Designare EX sia una scelta poco felice....sia io che fabiosun abbiamo fatto il procedimento opposto.....dalla Designare siamo passati alla Sage e ci siamo trovati benissimo. macos.zip
