    Nothing to add or change. Just make sure you have the latest F4l BIOS. I don't expect there to be any changes needed. RC2 boots fine and will probably be the actual release version, only tomorrow will tell.

    On my real 16" MBP, up until this evening this used to say "macOS Big Sur Beta" The beta has now disappeared and the file size has also grown from 11.xx GB to 12.19 GB. If you put your system info in your signature, it will be easier for others to help you as they will know what components you have. Most of us on here have done that as you will see on every post.

    Sanity Checker is just a rough guide and most of what it flags is irrelevant to TRX40 (and a lot for Intel systems as well!). Trust more what you read on this thread as we have all been there and have booting/working systems.

    Big Sur Release Candidate 2 (20B28) is now available to download via your developer account (or gibmacOS-master etc). EDIT:- No problems with the update.

    Anybody else's Catalina system, that is not enrolled in the beta program, being offered the latest Big Sur Beta (Release Candidate / GM)? This is also happening on my real MBP that has never been in a beta program.

    I've never used MatLab but you can try one, the other, or both of these:- Apply the AMD Adobe patches to Matlab (change what folder the scripts looks for to patch, ie change Adobe* to MatLab* or whatever it is called) If memory servers me right, which it doesn't always do 😀, PS etc use some of the same MKL libraries as MatLab. Use a script, as below, to launch MatLab, try values 5 or 2.

    @iGPU, I understand that they are required if you want to boot Linux, as well as macOS, from OC. I haven't, yet, install Linux on mine so cannot confirm this but it was an issue found by @jncasey.

    Strange how it changed between me grabbing a screen shot with it saying Beta and what it says now, within a matter of minutes. It still isn't showing up in Software Update for me but I am downloading the full thing now. EDIT Even stranger, it has now gone back to Beta 2 😲

    @iGPU, where are you seeing those settings? I don't have any of it in my config. EDIT: Just looked at @Jaidyconfig, and see it in there. His config looks like an amalgamation of mine and his previous one, no idea where that section originated from. @Jaidy, have you tried with just my config as is, not adding those extra bits?

    I've just updated Hackintool to the latest version. It now thinks I have booted with Clover Version 0 😀

    @jncasey, we must have been typing about the Linux bits at the same time. 🙂 Adding the new 0.6.3 kernel entry (EnableBTFeatureFlags --> True) to my config has fixed Handoff and unlocking from my Apple Watch (using Intel Bluetooth and AX200), so you may want to add and set that if you have an iPhone or Apple Watch and it isn't handing off or unlocking.

    @fabiosun, I've just remembered, I used to have those quirks disabled but enabled them on 24th October after a post by @jncasey, he had to enable them to be able to boot Linux from the OC picker. I tried it and it didn't affect anything on my system so I left them enabled just in case I load Mint, my preferred Linux distro, onto the TRX (I have it dual booting on a MS Surface Pro 4 atm).

    Yes, it boots fine with all 3 disabled. I accidentally hit the sleep item in the Apple menu and it turned off the monitors but locked the system up and I had to do a hard reset to boot up again. Sleep has never worked properly for me anyway but I always shut down my desktop machines so it is not an issue atm.

    @fabiosun, yes my previous comment about PS, AE etc are for the latest versions, PS 2021 (v22) etc. Liquify and Neural Filters don't work in PS but as I don't use those that isn't an issue for me. If I hear of a fix for those I'll let you know on here. I'll also test AE tracking on new Betas as they are released.

    @jncasey @iosengineer @Jaidy The following link is to my working OC 0.6.3 EFI It uses the builtin Intel Bluetooth and Wifi modules, fully working including Handoff etc. NVRAM is working as are all the USB ports. The config as is is built for Big Sur. If you wish to boot Catalina then it works for that as well except for Wifi. To use Wifi in Catalina you just need to change Misc | Security | SecureBootModel --> Default i.e. Big Sur = Disabled, Catalina = Default. It uses Verbose mode (I like to see things are moving along nicely) but you can remove the -v from boot-args to get rid of that if you want. You will also need to add the pikera boot-arg if you are using an RX5700 GPU (but you already knew that 🙂) Let me know if it is working for you. LINKY to EFI

    I currently have Above 4G enabled and working on my Gigabyte Xtreme. It was only after the last BIOS update that this worked. I don’t have a need (only 1 GPUs) for it but I tested it out of interest and it worked fine so I just left it at that.

    There is an additional bit to add to the config file but I believe it should be set to false, so there is very little to do to the config. Although it should work without the addition, I go along the track of 'if it should be in there, put it in there' as it makes future trouble shooting easier and the devs put it in there for a reason. I'll do mine by hand tomorrow and see how I get on. Kernel | ExtendBTFeatureFlags | False

    That is tomorrows project. This evening I have been getting the Adobe suite working and testing, plus various Topaz progs - Denoise, Sharpen, Mask & Gigapixel. Photoshop seems to work OK except Liquify, but as I don't use liquify that is a non issue but it would be nice to have everything working. AE (Beta) is still hanging on Tracking. Denoise is now working so installing the other Topaz progs to get them going - new NVMe so everything is being installed afresh so takes a while. I'll let you know when I have a 0.6.3 ready to go.

    @iosengineer, CfgLock is an Intel only BIOS setting, whether hidden or not, so is not applicable to our systems. As @jncasey mentioned, the 2 quirks are AppleCpuPmCfgLock and AppleXcpmCfgLock and should be set to False/No on AMD systems.

    @fabiosun Possible new 'fix' for Adobe 2021 products posted at https://gist.github.com/naveenkrdy/26760ac5135deed6d0bb8902f6ceb6bd I can't test until tomorrow or Wednesday but would be interested to hear if it does fix everything.

    It probably already has, except they have now changed the names from GM to RC (Release Candidate), otherwise why change the latest beta to 11.0.1, i.e the extra .1 on the end. They just haven't released it as they are waiting for the 'event' on the 17th.

    Is this bare metal, and if so, what did you need to do to get passed hanging on the camera tracking part?
