  1. Why do you spend so much time on a very old macOS which is not supported by Apple for 2 years? Yes by Apple standards it's too old, out of business. I have an iMac mid 2011 with last supported macOS High Sierra and it stay as a decorative object =)) I can't use it for may work because I can't install latest Apple developer tools, also any app which required Metal or any new Apple framework will not work on High Sierra. For Apple it doesn't matter, they sell hardware and make money not charitable acts. Why I should care about? Hackintoshes or Ryzentoshes are not for simple users which can stay on a PC / Mac with an old browser, Word, Excel 2007 and they are happy 😉 Have a nice day!
  2. Fixed 🙂 https://github.com/trulyspinach/SMCAMDProcessor/issues/4#issuecomment-592460963
  3. Cinebench 20 : 4.12GHz, 76° max temperatures, ~ 190Wats Geekbench 4 : 4.12GHz, 72° max temperature, ~ 170Wats
  4. Also VirtualSMC and SMCSuperIO are latest v.1.1.1
  5. @ iCanaro on my 3950x it won't display graph for frequency. I installed the latest 0.2 version of SMCAMDProcessor and the AMD Power Gadget works but frequency graph is missing. Needs other settings in Opencore? Thanks!
  6. @iCanaro AMD recommends an all-in-one liquid cooler* with a 280mm radiator (or greater) I built a custom loop liquid cooling system: 1. 7. Hi @iCanaro, Finally I build and install my ryzentosh 3950x + OC 5.5, Catalina 10.15.2 + Update to 10.15.3. It works very good 🙂 I have only one problem with virtualization(for docker) and it's because macOS does not support AMD-virtualization. I enabled SVM in BIOS and it works for VirtualBox and 64bit OS, without SVM it works only with 32bit OS. As I see on some resources in 10.15.4 beta someone found specs about AMD APU/CPUs. It's a good news but I think it's to early to receive AMD virtualization support 🙂 Can you check on 10.15.4 if AMD virtualization(SVM enabled in BIOS) is supported "sysctl kern.hv_support"? Thanks!
  8. Found a great video tutorial from a nice guy. Need to check if it works with 3950X 🙂
  9. Hello @iCanaro 🙂 I want to build a new hackintosh on Ryzen 3950x + ASUS Rog Strix X570-F Gaming + RX 580 + 32GB RAM, SSD.... From what I see you have already made it and have more knowledge on this topic. Can you please provide a step-by-step guide with Catalina installation / post-installation, including BIOS settings? I think it will help many enthusiasts to build their hackintoshes. I have to wait 2-3 weeks to get other components for this "monster", during this time I want to get more information about macOS Catalin and 3950x processor with X570 main boards. What problems can arise and how can they be avoided or solved? Since 2012 I have built / used hackintoshes on Intel CPUs. Now I want to try the "beast" from AMD 🙂 Grazie mille e saluti dalla Moldova!
