    It's a pity booted by Clover 5162/5163 I always got very poor crack sound output from Firefox.

    No such an issue from Safari and less severe from Google Chrome.

    Maybe it due to loss of boot-args booted by Clover and no such an issue booted by OpenCore in my AMD Hackintoshs.

    OpenCore 1.0.5 & Clover 5162 can boot Tahoe beta2 in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh stably

    Can anyone help me to find out why OpenCore 1.0.5 can not correctly show MacPro7,1 & its SN of my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh while Clover 5162 did this correctly ?

    AMD FX-6300 hackintosh booted by OpenCore 0.9.5 successfully

    Before applied OCLP to patch its GPU & USB 1.1 I need add -amd_no_dgpu_accel in boot-args if GPU is AMD RX560.

    I have changed my GPU to AMD RAdeon R9 270 2GB now to avoid this black screen issue before OCLP was applied.

    No one has explained well where and in which contition OSX needs of it

    I mean this patches:

    algrey | _cpuid_set_generic_info | Replace rdmsr(0x8B) with constant 186 | 10.13+

     

    I do not use legacy system in OSX so i can't say more

    So the conclusion is that only patch 6 is essential in both OpenCore and Clover bootloaders for AMD hackintoshs, no need for patch 7 at all !

    Clover needs to use two patches in another config.plist's section

    Thanks for your prompt reply, but I can not find any modification in these two config.plist.

    Did I miss something because patch 6 & patch 7 still enabled in OC ?

    In my FX6300 hackintosh these two patches only required at High Sierra (10.13) & Mojave (10.14) if booted by legacy OC 0.9.5.

    However patch 9 & 12 are required from High Sierra to Sonoma if booted by legacy Clover 5155/5156/5157.

    No such an issue in my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh booted by UEFI OpenCore or UEFI Clover.

    That confused me a lot !

    After many trials and errors my M5A(FX-6300) can boot Sonoma with Clover 5151 now !

    The key issue is related to my GPU RX-560 which need RadeonDeinit to avoid blank screen before login desktop and also fix previous unable to wakeup from sleep issue at Ventura/Sonoma now !

    Can anyone help me how to convert RadeonInit function to OpenCore ?

    I have found that different settings of AMD hackintoshs between OpenCore and Clover.

    In OpenCore its BusSpeed = 100,000,000, but in Clover it shoulder set to 200,000,000 otherwise its audio output is very, very poor !

    Could you try edit your config-clover.plist as mine shown here to test whether my theory is correct or not ?

    But for us, audio is a big problem

     

    What kind of audio do you have ? No sound or cracked noise ?

    May I see your config.plist maybe I can help to solve it ?

    a patch to boot with success in this new AMD platform thanks @CaseySj and @ExtremeXt work

     

    Patch for now is found on a branch of Clover AMD Vanilla patches:

    This patch is also useful to boot fine with problematic MSI X570 and lower motherboard!

    Clover 5151 can boot my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh at Ventura 13.5 beta now.

    But it still failed to boot my FX-6300 hackintosh at Ventura higher than 13.3 !

    No one answered so it is not ideal to use an old unsupported boot loader in new platforms as AM5

    Maybe there's some bug in Clover otherwise there's no reason why it can not boot at Ventura 13.3 or higher with correct kernel patch in AMD hackintoshs ! No such an issue in my Intel hackintoshs.

    Thanks for your advice and I have edited it as posted here (config.plist).

    By the way have you successfully booted Ventura >= 13.3  with Clover 514x or 5151 ?

    Because even I have converted new kernel patch my Ryzen hackintosh still only boot up to 13.2.1.

    Can you check it (config-clover-5147) for me ?
