I think it is the best solution! 🙂 in my case all things work (only realtek ethernet doesnt work and also USB4 ports dont work) Audio is USB audio (you have to map properly your USB) 9900x works (i have a 9950x but you have only to change core count patch i think) Sleep works

si il problema l'ho capito e sei stato chiaro...devi provare , se hai fatto diversi tentativi a resettare la Pram o come si chiama e poi scegliere di nuovo la partizione dove hai la EFI di opencore (se non sei pratico pero' non lo fare) ultimo firmware lo si carica con Mojave, e comunque se poi sei andato avanti di OS lo hai di certo

Ciao @Xam la tua EFI e' per un MAc Pro 5.1 quindi sono corretti tutti quei kext Molto probabilmente hai usato OCLP per crearla che mette tutti i kext necessari mettendo i limiti di utilizzo con i vari min e max kernel (per i kext) Ammetto che non ho scaricato la tua EFI ma avendo un MacPro qui da me funzionante posso pensare che sia un problema di whatevergreen (da provare con e senza) Ho montato un NVME e anche li hai delle opzioni per fare il boot da esso che devi attivare quando prepari la EFI con OCLP (do per scontato in quanto avevi già un sistema moderno che tu abbia aggiornato correttamente il firmware del MAc Pro 5.1 (l'ultimo si ottiene installando Mojave) Qui potresti avere un problema a seconda di come sei arrivato a Mojave a livello di patch (dos dude o altro) EDIT: Vedo anche che dici macpro 5.1 del 2009 (senon e' uno dei primissimi prodotti, potrebbe essere un 4.1 portato a 5.1 , non ci sono problemi anche li se e' fatto bene il passaggio)

no e' la 5gbit non supportata ma il problema si presenta solo in Tahoe. Non essendo un sistema che utilizzo, e' un problema che mi tocca marginalmente. @tomnicper il problema del probegate 10 bit e' stata aggiornata la patch da ExtremeXT ed e' stato fatto un merge nel github delle patches amd L'altra patch ha problemi in beta 2 ma viene caricata correttamente in beta 1 Nel mio caso ho installato anche beta 1 e' ho verificato che e' cosi' (la trova e' ha success nel debug log) , ma il problema rimane, attivando solo la realtek (ethernet) il sistema va in panico non ho fatto altre prove che ho fatto all'epoca sulla x670 dove si poteva disabilitare thunderbolt o ethernet o audio per ovviare a questo problema il problema si creava dopo monterey..se da te si e' creato in sonoma, probabilmente la patch ha cominciato a scricchiolare da prima

mi dispiace ma non hai capito bene 😛 il bootarg e' altra patch questa e' un'altra anche in beta 1 dove viene caricata regolarmente non funziona bene si ha il problema che ho scoperto tanti mesi fa su x670e che caseySJ risolse (PCI zombies) ora per partire sia su beta 1 che con beta 2 devo disabilitare almeno una ethernet nel bios

per sistemi complessi come questo qui..credo che vada rivista almeno una patch del kernel, ma forse e' stato detto e me lo sono perso! 😉
