  1. In this part we will deepen the passage of some peripherals integrated on motherboard such as the AQC107 NBase-T/IEEE 802.3bz Ethernet card and the two Intel Corporation I211 Gigabit network cards. The first one is directly supported by macOS HighSierra onwards. Instead for the Intel i211 a kext downloadable in the download section of our site will be used. Also download the dcpimanager application to verify that the ID of your network card is included in the same kext Our initial friends as usual is Web interface shell. Open it and type: lspci in the following part I will put only a useful selection for this part of the guide so I have to find network card useful data: root@pve:~# lspci ............................ 44:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation I211 Gigabit Network Connection (rev 03) 45:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation I211 Gigabit Network Connection (rev 03) ............................ 49:00.0 Ethernet controller: Aquantia Corp. AQC107 NBase-T/IEEE 802.3bz Ethernet Controller [AQtion] (rev 02) ............................ root@pve:~# Now we can edit our VM config file and insert on it passthrough data: hostpci6 49:00 #Aquantia hostpci7 44:00 #I211 (first one) hostpci7 45:00 #I211 (second one) Save your config as usual (ctrl x--->y--->send) Before rebooting your System and relaunching modified VM, download i211 ethernet kext from here: Insert it in your kext folder and, if you use OpenCore boot loader you have to declare it in config .plist Close your VM and restart it again. You should see in your system report all your Ethernet card available in your system.
  2. @SuperPan editing video After Effects? intendevi premiere Pro (sempre di adobe)? Con il budget che ti rimane hai diverse possibilità, dipende molto anche cosa ti aspetti poi dal tuo sistema
  3. @Renato i do not understand: "(being tired plays with your mind 🙂 )" for your icloud access problem instead..you have to fill your config with some data in SMBios.plist part…. so have you formatted now your previous unseen OSX disk? 🙂
  4. ehmm have you formatted it in disk util? then..why scsi? I never tested scsi..but I think it is not your problem (also never checked backup, some time SSD emulation but it is not relevant @Renatofor your disk miss! see also If you see it here :
  5. Davinci Resolve Candle Benchmark in action 🙂 🙂
  6. ciao e benvenuto La tua macchina puo' funzionare perfettamente in highsierra se riesci a postare le foto del blocco si riesce a risolverlo.. molto probabilmente hai MSR bloccati..e poi altre cose da verificare sia lato config che bios
  7. @Renato it depends from your clover config if you download it with VM assistant script, it is 1920x1080
  8. I do not understand well this however I have installed with clover, then I have tried Opencore and it is now working better (it solves bad graphic I some condition) Your problem is a linux problem..you can't see your mouse I think so OSX is not yet involved in this problem
  9. Hi Renato I do not remember your hardware but to answer to one of your question, I have downloaded OC in my OSX AMD rig with OC EFI maker you can find in download section, mount my EFI with an app by @Gengik84 (not availble yet because he is betatesting it)and thhen compiled a simple config.plist starting from sample.plist so to boot no ssd no dsdt we have to think a bit different but one time we have configured linux well..all is more simple and better and overall it is the only method available for trx40 user..for free here 🙂 🙂
  10. ciao IGPU when osx boots..you have the same problem you have in a regular hackintosh However not tested Intel BT/wifi stuff I have had x299 gigabyte designare mb before this one and I have had many problems with its integrated thunderbolt on my previous rig With sage 10G ant titan ridge all was working fine (hot plug and so on) In this one I have not tested any TB adapter for now. My MSI has not a thunderbolt header and I would have to test with titan Ridge and the cable trick
  11. Discussion, benchmark, help request and improvements for this guide could be posted here: https://www.macos86.it/topic/2675-proxmox-ve-osx-guide-discussion/

    Hi

3970x Proxmox success is happened because lockdown😂 welcome here
  13. RED Cine X Professional on High Sierra and AMD Threadripper 3970x 🙂
  14. you can edit via shell not simple fs0:/ or as your EFI it is named in your system.. then terminal command
  15. if you mean when you run your vm video became weird you have to set (for now) your clover config in the same resolution of your OVMF bios when you have a first boot right you can try to pu OpenCore bootloader which is not affected from this problem for usb problem I will think to bypass all your usb hub..and connect your mouse and keyboard directly to the motherboard port... but only you can find for this problem a solution
  16. You can also try to pass completely your unique usb controller hostpci3: 00:14 in your conf file but i have no others idea
  17. I see @Renato i think in this way is fine so if you cant see a mouse attached to it the only way for now is to connect your mouse on a onboard usb port I cant see your hardware in your signature but i think some spare usb port could be there on your motherboard
  18. you can also pass +tsc_adjust but I can't see any improvement using most of supported features....and Catalina starts also with none of them.
  19. if you can post also cinebencz 15 🙂 if I understand well in Proxmox is better for you than previous patched method?
  20. have you passed this one? if you do not pass it, in Web interface/hardware/usb part what do you see?
  21. @Pavowhen you have time also cinebench 15 gpu bench uf you have also windows one and real hack with patches to see if important differences are there by the way you can also try to put host in vm cpu and use amd vanilla patches to boot.
  22. @Pavo cpu is fine, you can see comparing in real way with no vm benchmark using traditional patches gpu benchmarks are missing for now have you some problem there? @Renato for inserting pictures you can drag and drop when you are writing your message
  23. Hi Renato step by step when you have time post your lspci -nn output and try to put your mouse via webinterface as single usb port If you pass a complete usb controller could interfere in functionality also change port from usb hub to a single port if you can
  24. Hi welcome here. if you have a Proxmox system booting in OSX you can easily change your EFI folder. You have to mount it and then change your clover structure with an OpenCore one. To build OpenCore bootloader folder I have used OC EFI maker you can find in download section. Following this video could be useful:
