    64 max total cores / threads is not only a XNU limitation, but also a hardcoded limit in AppleACPI and similar crucial boot kexts... you can "bypass" the 3F cores limit by a kernel patch, Pikeralpha studied about it, but for personal (tragic) reasons he had to retire... so limit is still present and, right now, not avoidable: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/316804-80-core-hackintosh/

    After struggling for almost 4 weeks my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh with RX570 GPU can boot Tahoe beta2 by OC 1.0.5 and clover 5162 now ! EFI-OC-1.0.5.zip EFI-5162.zip

    Hi to both 🙂 I have always my old x670 WE hero for wife's pc 🙂 i do not touch anymore that pc 😉 however it is possible it would work with old acpi patches. if no, post dsdt on amd discord or here and Corpghost will help you as usual with new patches

    I'm so happy to say that after struggling for almost 4 weeks my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh can boot Tahoe beta2 by the newest Clover 5162 now. The only issue was unable to enable its internal I211 adapter as AppleIGB which cause very slow boot to desktop and very unstable system soon later ! Also AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext must be disabled to prevent KP with Lilu.kext. config.plist.zip EFI-5162.zip

    Hi everyone, that's my first post in this community. I haven't Hackintoshed at all yet so this also my first time hackintoshing. I have an old broken Mac Pro 5,1 from 2010 that I can't repair so I decided to imitate Linus Tech Tips by building a workstation Hackintosh inside it. I want more than 64 threads and as I've chosen to use two Xeons E5 26xx v4 (I'll define later the precise model) I want them to have Turbo Boost unlocked. The motherboard I'm thinking about is the Huananzhi F8D, a Chinese E-ATX motherboard. That brilliant guy made a GitHub repo with the EFI and a guide to reach what I want but with the 64-threads limitation. Is there a workaround for that? Thanks in advance

    Hi @Xsario, I haven't tried it yet. I think @fabiosunhas updated his motherboard to the latest Hero so isn't in a position now to try it. If you try it first can you update here if all is well. Have you tried Tahoe yet? I can't get mine to boot to the installer even with the latest kexts, OC and patches. I get the prohibit sign and screen corruption during part of the installation and it either freezes or reboots in a loop.

    Hi @fabiosun @Ploddles, There is a new bios for the X670 hero. Are you using this bios? If so, is there a patch we need to do in EFI?

    Quasi sicuramente il problema è proprio la mia EFI che ha una configurazione sbagliata per la gpu rx580 . Infatti , apportando alcune modifiche sono riuscito ad ottenere il logo di Sequoia la mela e il caricamento che però si ferma a metà . Lo schermo nero non è comparso. Qualcuno di voi ha una EFI adatta al mio Mac Pro 5.1 con sed NVMe , gpu rx580 ,MacOS Sequoia Grazie

    Unmmm , un conto che gia' c e' l hai abbandonata da qualche parte , allora puoi provare a farla fuzionare andare a spendere anche se sono 20/40e anche no ( magari fra qualche giorno / settimana , sistemano la patch per la BCM ) se poi hai connessione Lan su Tahoe secondo me non vale la pena anche perche' le prestazioni non possono essere come una BCM e i servizi Apple non credo siano garantiti

    If you can afford an Asus Hero (if in your country is available) i would buy it i had both but Hero is far away better The only pro for Proart is about 10 Gbit Aquantia ethernet I prefer Hero because i use 2 6950xt and slot space is better EDIT: also internal wifi is not working for both..but i have mounted in internal wifi a broadcom (on proart is more simple to do because hero has a huge backplate)

    se dovesse funzionare non c'è problema costa dai 18 ai 40 euro, ma....siccome non ho mai usato la usb wifi poi funziona come se si avesse la wifi? cioè cerco di spiegarmi meglio airdrop e icloud e tutto il resto funziona?

    Thanks, actually you inspired me to upgrade to one of those two configurations. Between the two mainboards ProArt or ROG CROSSHAIR which one you consider more stable? I saw that ProArt doesn't require ACPI patching while ROG CROSSHAIR does.

    Come da titolo. Utilizzando MacOs Ventura, se copio un file sul disco Windows, quest'ultimo perde il Boot. Preciso che ogni S.O. ha il suo NVEM dedicato, ed utilizzo su Mac Paragon NTFS regolarmente acquistato e registrato. Nelle impostazioni di Paragon, non trovo niente di strano da selezionare o de-selezionare. È una cosa stranissima, ma mi accade ogni volta, A qualcuno è mai successo?

    I think it is the best solution! 🙂 in my case all things work (only realtek ethernet doesnt work and also USB4 ports dont work) Audio is USB audio (you have to map properly your USB) 9900x works (i have a 9950x but you have only to change core count patch i think) Sleep works

    Hi Fabiosun, Is the sleep function working fine with this motherboard? I am considering between ProArt and ROG CROSSHAIR mainboards. I intend to use it with Ryzen 9900x, should that work fine? I've seen some discussions around tha cpu not being recommended. Thanks in advance for your advise.

    Update: The new ACPI patches from CorpGhost work perfectly with Asus 670E Gene BIOS 3104!!
