x870e motherboard ASUS ProArt X870E-CREATOR WIFI - Ryzen 9950x

I made a build based on an x870 Taichi Lite, AMD 9950X3D, 6600xt, NVMe, and 64 GB RAM, and use your @fabiosun efi. Of course, I made some changes for my devices, but still, something is wrong with the video. After booting, everything disappeared, a black screen, and after about a minute, the screen appeared. Booting just with the middle DP, if connected to 2 screens, will result in a black screen. If I boot with one middle Display Port and after the login screen, connect the second screen, everything is shown. What could be a reason?

HAve you tried with and without whatevergreen kext?

Have you removed my DP spofing data in config.plist?

it seems pretty good

i would try only to disable whatevergreen (and pikera bootarg)

also applealcu kext i dont know if you need it

if you use an USB audio no need also of appleAlc (if i am not wrong at all)

X870E Taichi Lite uses Realtek ALC4082, everything I find about it is like USB audio, somewhere I read that it needs to use AppleALCU but will try without also...

My asus hero had USB audio and no need of any kext (also appleAlc is not useful) you could try to disable both and if your audio is USB one it will work the same

Disable whatevergreen, it boots much faster, and disable applealcu - the result is good, the sound is on

will try to boot with 2 DP ports

disconnect 1 DP, booting with 1 DP - black screen

second try 1DP, booting - black screen

boot from USB - the screen appears..

something still wrong 😞

In your boot argument agdpmod=pikera. Have you enabled Resizable BAR in bios? If not, make Above 4G Decoding Enabled.

yes for both and in new bioses both parameter are connected 😉

also in config.plist you have to enabled resize bar (0 as parameter)

I've been wondering about the thunderbolt connection for a long time because I'm a musician.I follow CaseySJ in other forums and once he mentioned that if you connect your thunderbolt device to the pc in the open state when your computer is off, it will see it.It really works but the only problem is that it doesn't hot plug.So if you unplug and plug the usb c cable, it doesn't detect it. My problem right now is that it does not recognize realtek8125.I have a usb wifi card and it disconnects and connects in short intervals.I can recommend you to try your thunderbolt or usb 4 device.First create your map with USBToolBox and then add it to the efi

.Turn off the pc and turn your thunderbolt device on and boot the pc.It will most likely work.

@WeKinGi dont know if your USB4 are asmedia as Proart ones

In this case on ASUS Proart and others board they dont work and they only allow to charge some devices as Iphone

Maybe Asus Prime has different USB4 type?

As far as I know, my motherboard has ASMedia ASM4242 for thunderbolt management. I think yours is the same, right? Do you have any thunderbolt devices?

I added a few pci addresses from the opencore configurator and I'm not sure if that helped.
It works as seen in the pictures, now I have made an edit and I am trying to solve the usb disconnection problem.

usbc launchpad did not connect. it connected when I connected it from type a with the charging cable.i will try with other type c devices and write the results.as far as i understand the usb controller of type c is different.so you need to introduce it in kext or some other way.luckily it saw my sound card.

I have read at various online sites, that the iGPU is not supported for macOS. Was hoping if it was possible to use the USB4 for DP-AltMode connections. This is the unsupported Asmedia port?

No it is not possible by now (also in my new Hero x870e motherboard it is only possible to charge a phone/ipad)

Thanks fabiosum. I have a CPU 9900X, ProArt x870e Creator Wifi motherboard, RX580 8GB, and running Seqouia as a VM on ProxMox using OSX-ProxMox scripts. Can  I use your Asus X870E Creator Wifi.zip from first post to get better mappings for my system? And do I need to make any changes to indicate that its a 9900X Cpu? I am new to kext/ssdt customizations.
