Ciao, 

il problema delle System Preferences che crashano è presente anche su sequoia 15.0.

Per caso qualcuno ha qualche idea per risolvere? 
da altre prove fatte direi che non è dovuto allo stand-by, perchè mi succede anche al primo avvio... non sempre, è abbastanza randomica la cosa, ma è presente.
Non saprei proprio dove andare a cercare per risolvere 😞
