You have to do as I said

maybe try do disinstal brew and then install it again

Try installing Node.js from here:

 

https://nodejs.org/dist/v16.18.0/node-v16.18.0.pkg

Try these possible fixes:

 

Change npm's default directory to a hidden directory in your home folder:

 

mkdir ~/.npm-global
npm config set prefix '~/.npm-global'
export PATH=~/.npm-global/bin:$PATH
source ~/.profile

 

And then try to normally issue the command:

 

npm install -g amdfriend

 

If this doesn't work try to issue the command with this syntax:

 

sudo npm install -g --unsafe-perm=true --allow-root amdfriend

before to have the chance to patch any app you want you have to install well the script

Devs has prepared an executable file which could help you

 

https://github.com/NyaomiDEV/AMDFriend/releases/tag/v1.0.2

 

download it

then

from terminal

 

xattr -c /Users/fabio/Downloads/amdfriend

and then

chmod +x /Users/fabio/Downloads/amdfriend

 

then you can try to patch photoshop

 

sudo /Users/fabio/Downloads/amdfriend --in-place --sign --directories /Applications/Adobe\ Photoshop\ 2023/Adobe\ Photoshop\ 2023.app

in this latest Photoshop release , liquid filter, deep font and usual stuffs needed to patch for AMD users is gone away

Adaptive wide angle filter needs patch and AMDFriend did the job well again! 🙂

Guys, Photoshop has been giving me an error for quite a while when I upload some photos, and others not, despite having done the whole AmdFriends procedure ?

Hi, I can confirm genny's post that Photoshop 24.7 crashes as soon as you have opened an image and move the mouse.

The patches worked correctly on the 23.x versions.
