Ok @Driftwoodwoke up In me the desire to test new adobe beta

All apps tested (PS,PR,AE,ME) start fine with no need of any patches to boot (SIP enabled or disabled is the same)

all using problems are there and to have all tools working we have to patch

PS

Deep font in text tool
Object Selection tool

Liquify

PR

Warp Stabiliser
Morph Cut

Rolling shutter

AE

Camera tracking

Warp Stabiliser

and so on

With new @tomnic way to patch I have tested only PS beta and it works perfectly as usual

I've been having trouble with these patches no matter what I do and what version of PS I use.

I tried again just now on a brand new install (aside from Brave and NordVPN/NordPass, Photoshop 22.5.1 is the only thing installed) and ran into the same error that I have all along irrespective of what version of PS I've tried to use. Running PugetBench to sanity check the install, it always hits the Iris Blur test and hangs. I'm not sure if it's hardware-specific or something else. Either way, I've included the crash log under the cut.

Hardware is as per my signature. I've added the environment.plist and the dylib, and I've replaced the Adaptive Wide Angle filter plugin as described.

After some tests done with @tomnic, we were able to use Premiere Pro 15.4.1, but it is also possible with other programs, I said we were able to use the apps patched with SIP enabled It is important to reassign the signature to the patched plugin or library like this:

codesign --force --deep --sign - / Applications / Adobe \ Premiere \ Pro \ 2021 / Adobe \ Premiere \ Pro \ 2021.app/Contents/Plug -Ins / Common / AEFilterRollingShutter.bundle / Contents / MacOS / AEFilterRollingShutter

this above for rolling shutter (after clearly patching it)

the same for other part of the app/plugin using Intel MKL as shown by @tomnicin this thread

@Driftwoodmaybe you can test with your CC beta suite 😉

sip Enabled

solution with patched lib:

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\).app/Contents/Frameworks/libmkl_core.dylib

Hello I would like to make photoshop and after effects work but I do not have much knowledge about this issue of patching ... there is an easy way to do this if you can explain it to me step by step I would be very grateful since I would like to have a functional hackintosh but always I return to windows because adobe programs do not work for me

I have been doing this message for many days since I have been on this problem, and after searching through internet I have not found any solutions yet.

So, I recently changed bluid, for this:

B550 Vision D
Ryzen 9 5900x 12-Core
Radeon RX 6800XT 16GB
NVMe WD_BLACK SN850 500 GB
Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz, DDR4 2x 32GB

macOS Big Sur 11.6.1 (iMac Pro 2017)

Since then I have hardly encountered any problems, expect in Premiere Pro and in After Effects, warp stabilizer and Tracker camera don't work, when I drag it on footage, Pr craching imedialely and Ae stay at 0%.

How have you patch the issue in this video ?

The environment.plist method requires SIP disabled not because of Zii but because it's not possible to link the fakdylib with SIP enabled. So the best way is to actually patch the adobe dylib directly but fabiosun and tomnic have not showed how to perform this direct patch yet.

This thread is a wip project

now we have reached our goal to patch only things we need

@tomnicwill describe his method when it will be possible

for now if you want post an external link with those libs if you need

and I will patch it for you (for PS see here: https://www.macos86.it/topic/5299-adobe-photoshop-2251-amd-fix/)

if so you have only to use those libs and disable all old methods

@zoiko192

by the way

here we do not teach to crack a software

we try to have it working on AMD Cpu system

😂

Solution is pretty simple

Our problem is  many people lurk here without helping with some debug

So me and overall @tomnicare trying to debug all Adobe creative features from our own

Our main goal is to have our OSX system more vanilla we can, without injecting stuff for all app (that do not need of any patches I mean), and in my case also to have SIP Enabled! 🙂

From a crash log you can find two useful indications:

1) library which fails and its path

2) the reason

Then, with a disassembler and an HEX app is possible to locate and change some bytes to have library calls redirected to AMD compliant instructions 🙂

Thanks always @tomnic, with this idea we have a nice improvment to old patching method and not only for Adobe applications, also for many others (discord, Luminar, Maya,Matlab.. and so on)

@Raven90z

with which app have you problem?

If it is Photoshop...which version?

if you use 22..5.1, @tomnic has posted in a thread libs you need

to patch you have to do:

1) overwrite original lib (if app you are using is the same (IE 22.5.1)

2) resign it if you have sip enabled

obviously you have to work without any old patching method.

to be more clear

all methods we posted (lib posted) are working perfectly

If you have some problem with that app you can post a detailed log or when problem happens 🙂
