Gigabyte x299x aorus master bios reset.

I managaed to get an efi to install catalina but more often when i try to boot it fails and goes back to bios saying boot failure detected. can anyone  please help me out thanks. Attached is my efi.

your EFI is very..very weird

Put in your signature your exact system (Motherboard, cpu, GPU and so on)

Also post here your exact BIOS version and configuration settings

Thanks for your response. I am using bios version f3c on gigabyte x299x aorus master CSM disable other OS,  XMP profile 1, VTD disable , above 4G enabled.Thanks.

can't boot with this efi no matter what boy settings i used. it gets to the picker then shuts down. thanks.

you say it shutdown..any debug or verbose lines?

it turn off your pc or it reboots?

it seems x299x bios are a bit crappy for mackintosh..but I can't say it

no experience with it

Sorry it is difficult to say..when I have had a X299 system I was happy with it and I have had different board like Asus She 10 G or Gigabyte Designare Ex

 

AMD is a different story..you have to evaluate well if Software you use is working well

Usually when you have configured well a x299 system..you have never a problem

With AMD it depends from many factor

 

I have an AMD..it is a beast for my job pipeline 🙂

ok so i cleaned up my efi and now everything shows ok on OC sanity checker website. but my PCI info is a mess in about this mac system report. How to i fix this?

i kinda have an idea it has to do with SSDT, but which ones?thanks.

It shows thunderbolt but my UAD Apollo is not connecting. (thunderbolt is turned on in bios with security Slo- 0 No security.

I think you need a patched firmware for your thunderbolt to see peripherals on OSX

it is only a debug txt 

useful some time if system does not start

you can avoid to print it every time changing to a non debug open core version or to set to 3 this value:

 

Target from 67 as it is now to 3

 

also this should be to Disable...but if your system starts well leave it as is

Ok did all that but now i am realizing that the system will not boot from cold boot, instead goes to bios safe mode. I have to reset cmos in order to boot again. do you have any idea why this might be happening? thanks.
