Secondo me ti conviene investire se proprio ci vuoi spendere qualcosa, in dischi SSD, ora i 2TB si trovano a meno di 200€ Sulla mia Z97 ho su M2 un transcend che viene dato R/W 1800/1800 e legge a 1600 e scrive a 1500 ma nell'uso pratico e come boot la differenza tra il crucial da 2Tb e questo è assolutamente irrilevante. Quindi per concludere se lo vuoi fare per divertirti un po' OK bene, se invece per incrementare di chissà cosa le prestazione... mmmm sono molto dubbioso.
